foreman and abbot service technician came to residence on 5/17. upon arrival the service technician listened to the unit ( min split AC/heater) and did ONE small gauge reading and stated the compressor was going bad. we were charged $85.00 for this service with no resolution. the technician stated they would not work on this unit. i contacted the original company the unit was purchased form ( ******) and spoke to ******. the ****** company stated that they would call foreman and Abbott because the technician from their did not perform the proper checks on the unit to ensure the compressor was bad. ****** stated it "sounds like" the unit only needed charged with refrigerant. after several calls on the dates of 5/17 and 5/18, The manger from foreman and Abbott Steve, stated on 5/18 that he was not willing to send the technician back out and call ****** to troubleshoot the unit. I ask for a refund since they were not willing to troubleshoot the unit and try to fix it. Steve stated that no he was done with the conversation and hung up the phone. I want a refund for the services.

We went a looked that the unit. Our service tech checked the pressure on the unit and it was reading high suction pressure.  he showed Mr. ****** on his digital gauges what it was and told him what it was suppose to be. The compressor was noisy and not pumping properly. Mrs. ****** called and said my service tech didn't check anything and that my tech just listened to the unit and told them the compressor was bad.  So, she lied about that. ****** from ****** call the office and asked what we had found.  I explained the above to him and he said ok I'll let the home owner know their options.  He did not tell us to add freon or to run any other checks on the system. Mrs. ****** called back and said ****** told her we needed to add freon to the system. I attempted to explain to her that with high suction pressure you couldn't add more freon. She just kept insisting we send someone else out or give her her money back. I explained to her that my tech has been with us for over 30 years and knows what he's doing.

I called and talked to ****** today and he said that Mr. ****** told him the opposite of what my tech said.  Mr. ****** said it was reading low pressure.

Mrs. ****** insisted we send a different tech back to her house and call ****** while she was there and on speaker phone so she knew what was going on.

Mrs. ****** was very rude.  Which she was last time we worked for her in 2011.  I should have known not to try to work for her again.   So, I know they lied at least twice and I'm not dealing with them anymore.

I'm not refunding their money because we diagnosed the issue and talked to tech support for them 3 times.

      Thanks

       Steve

I am just requesting a refund because the unit was not fixed and they did refuse to come out and work with ****** to try and diagnos the issue and recharge the unit. I just want a refund so that I can call someone else to come work on this.  This business should be mandated to refund money since they did not fix the issue.

I expect my unit to be fixed when I called and was charged 85$ for a technician to come out. Obviously the technician doesn’t know what he is doing or he would have agreed to try And repair it. I was not RUDE!!! Steve was the RUDE one he has no customer service training and obviously needs that.

however I am filing this complaint to get a refund and ensure that other consumers are not taken advantage of by this company!!!!!

You can ensure once I am refunded I will NEVER contact this company again and will advertise their HORRIBLE service to ensure no one else uses their services!

      Regards,

      ****** *****
