We paid Andy over $30K for 3 bathroom remodels and 3 floor/door repairs. Andy would disappear for weeks at a time. We decided to go ahead and fix 2 of the door/floor repairs ourselves and he finally completed 2 bathrooms and stopped showing. He also stopped communicating. We asked for him to bring our master bathroom products to our home and he stated he didn’t want them in his way even though he had 2 trailers at our house. When he quit showing he would say he would be there and then not show. We finally text him not to come back and ended up having to contact the sheriffs office to have him come and get his trailers. We paid for a bathroom remodel we never got. He kept the money and we never got our tile, vanity or counter. We would like at least $5K back for what he didn’t complete we paid up front forBusiness response

Ten Point Construction has built a reputation of immense respect and quality. The quality comes with extended time frames and that is where I think this issue is derived from. All refunds have and were issued to customer. Including doors, due to the fact the customer voided contract by having someone else do the work. The company the customers chose did NOT repair the issues as Ten Point Construction properly did. Pictures and documentation were made of both companies repairs on both the front and rear doors, along with damage done and cause by secondary companies installation of both doors and windows. With regards to the trailers, they were left on site to show commitment to said project, until the customers chose to go another route, and Have us not complete the job. The following day Ten Point Construction was threatened with towing of the trailers 36hrs after they terminated contract. As once again they were left in hope of a resolution beyond termination. It is of deep regret it came to this, as Ten Point Construction wanted to and planned on finishing the project. As stated above all discounts are documented and shown in invoices of contract. Ten Point Construction considers the termination of contract and outsourcing work detailed in our contract a breach of contract, and therefore considers this matter closed. Once more, apologies the job didn’t go as you wished. And best of luck on future projectsCustomer response

We never heard from him in March except for him to tell us he was coming and not show up. When he said again on the 12th he would show we ended our services on the 13th knowing it was most likely he would not show again. It had been 2 weeks since he had been at the house working and he had fired his 2 employees at that point as well.
We hired him in October to remodel 3 bathrooms and fix 3 doorways when we replaced the doors. He did 1 door. We fixed the other 2 ourselves. And he did 2 of the 3 bathrooms. He had 4 1/2 months to do 2 bathrooms and install a door. He constantly was MIA thru the project and continued to fire his help who actually did show up. We gave him multiple chances and grace.
I also continued to ask for my cabinets to be at the house which he assured me he purchased and he would not bring them so we know he had not bought them. We have drastically over paid for items and services we never received.
Regards,

Again, we hold true to our last response. Unfortunately the attachment shown by customer is an estimate. Not our signed contract. We continue to view this matter as closed. And wish you the best in future renovations.Initial Complaint

We agreed to a group of projects with Ten Points for a total of about $25,000. We paid about 1/3 of the total before work began, and they did work on the biggest individual project - redoing a room in our basement for about $12,000. As they were wrapping up that project, they asked for another 1/3 of the total to get the parts ordered for the next things they would do. We were pleased with how the basement work had gone, so we agreed. They finished the basement work and said they would be back after a long weekend break to start the rest of the work. They never came back and stopped returning my calls, texts, and emails. When my wife called from a different number, they said they would return the following Monday. They haven't come back or responded to calls, texts, or emails since then. That was months ago, I believe in December. They finished the basement around the end of October, and it is now late February with no word.
