America’s Wildlife Control came to our home to treat fleas. We spent an entire week in a hotel waiting for their “treatments” to work. We decided to have a second opinion through Terminex. Terminex came out and the flea issue was resolved within 4 hrs. They also informed us the methods America’s Wildlife Control used was ineffective from the start. They continue to invoice us for a service that was highly ineffective and we incurred additional cost through a weeks hotel stays and additional Terminex fees.Business response

America's Wildlife Control (AWC) treated Elizabeth's house for a severe flea infestation for the price of $300 + sales tax. Elizabeth was informed after her free inspection that the house needed to be clean of all clutter and debris so the pesticide could reach where the fleas and eggs were at in the carpet and flooring. She was also told the house needed to be swept twice a day for one week minimum to achieve the extermination of the flea infestation. Elizabeth agreed to have the house cleaned out and ready for AWC to begin the treatment. When AWC arrived to treat the fleas nothing had been cleaned. In most areas of the home the flooring was not visible due to layers of trash, moldy food waste, and filthy debris covering the floor. Elizabeth texted AWC several days later because she still had fleas in her home. AWC told her we would gladly come back out and re-treat her home for no additional cost, but if she doesn't clean the house it wouldn't be effective. Elizabeth once again agreed to clean up the house and allow us access to the flooring to treat. The AWC technician treated the home again at no additional charge, but took pics of the condition of the house because once again the home was not cleaned. Elizabeth didn't contact AWC again until she was sent her bill for the service. She stated she had to hire Terminix to treat the home and had to stay in a hotel when she arrived back in the county. AWC has asked Elizabeth three times for documentation to show that Terminix in fact treated her home to which she has never produced. Elizabeth was informed of the steps she needed to take to insure a successful treatment multiple times during this proceeding. Each time she agreed to do what she was instructed to, but made no attempt to follow through on her end. Elizabeth told AWC that Terminix treated a cleaned out and empty house and the fleas were "gone" within four hours. AWC told Elizabeth that is the type of condition of the home we were trying to treat the whole time, but she failed to allow us to do our job effectively. AWC's flea treatment was not effective solely due to negligence on the behalf of the home owner (Elizabeth Lima) and that should not blemish the exceptional reputation of AWC.Business response
