I am a homeless Veteran who requested financial assistance to pay past due amount to bring account up to date. The ********* **** Veteran Assistance office in Mount Gilead sent payment plus one month to the Norwalk location on 24 June 2022. When I talked to ********* at the ********* **** I was asked to have the storage unit business call them if payment was not received by 5 July 2022. I contacted them and was told by ******** ******, location manager they had not received payment as of yet. When asked to call ********** I was told "we don't do that." I have called them constantly to keep them informed of what is transpiring. I have attempted to contact the regional manager, ****** *** numerous times with no response. They know payment is enroute via USPS. When asked to reach out to the ********* **** so a new check could be drawn for payment, they refuse.Business response

[BBB transcription via email received from the business]*** ****** is having the ********* **** pay for his storage unit at our facility. He stated the ********* **** sent a check, but we never received it. He is requesting that we call the ********* **** to check on the check they sent. We informed *** ****** that he will need to contact the ********* **** and have the check resent as the unit is in his name. We cannot contact anyone who is not listed on the tenant’s account.
