  THI,LLC - *** ******** has failed to perform the contract - Has abandoned the project - What little work that was performed is not at industry standards. Contract for 18,000 to do a siding project - $7,000.00 advance payment. The 2 squares of siding that was installed will need to be removed and done correctly. *** has repeatedly ignored text messages and phone calls to rectify the situation Very poor business practices - Very poor workmanship.

  ***, owner of THI, LLC responded by phone to this complaint. He stated that he did have a contract with the consumer to tear off all siding and river rock from the house and to install new vinyl siding. Company completed the tear off which took a week because the river rock was not easy to pull off. Company purchased all materials and those materials are in the consumers possession.(in his garage) Company began to install the new vinyl siding and consumer was not in town. Consumer had some other workers there who were working inside the house. Those workers (third party) contacted the consumer and incorrectly stated that the company was air-nailing the siding. They were not. They would never air-nail vinyl siding. Then the consumer called him and told him to stop installing the siding. After a while, consumer called company and said , OK, now you can finish the siding. Company terminated the contract because this was a bad situation and company was not going to take orders from some third party not involved in the contract. Company was paid $7000, $5000 went directly to materials. The other $2000 does not even cover working there for over a week. Company also cleaned and cleared all the old materials. Company does not appreciate this consumer stating his work was inferior and trying to smear him as he is very reputable and cares about his reputation and standing. Company will not be returning to consumer home and no refund.

  I am rejecting this response because: 

  1. The tear off left lots of debris in the yard that required extra effort on our part to get it cleaned up.

  2. We had to remove all the siding that what installed by THI because the laps we wrong.

  3. Upon removing the siding we discovered that most all of the siding only had two nails per run holding it on.

  4. We incurred addition costs for clean-up and removal of the siding.

  5. *** never kept his word on when the crew would show up to do the work.

  6. The total cost associated with the above cost me an addition $4,000.00
