Not certain what happened to the rest of my message. I had a small inground pool installed last August by contractor and ordered a safety cover from Blue Dolphin Pools pn October 28th. I have attached a copy of the invoice I received along with my credit card statement verifying I paid for it. I was told that once received it would be installed upon receipt. It has been a yearand I still don't have a safety cover. Despite my attempts to reach the owner, **** with Blue Dolphin Pools. he has not returned phone calls. I suspect he never ordered the cover from Latham Pools, the manufacuter. My attempts to reach Latham have also been unsuccessful as they prefer I deal with the dealer.
I am asking some help in obtaining the safety cover I ordered and paid for before winter arrives. Any assistance would be appreciated.

9/27/2021 - Crew arrived onsite after being instructed they were not permitted to be onsite until 9/28 due to birth of our child. Prearranged agreements by the contractor and his father on the location and depth of the pool to facilitate future predesigned construction was not followed. Location was correct however the height from the top of the existing deck to the top of the concrete was to be 24" which was relayed in March/April of 2021 per CAD as well as multiple times around and during construction. This was completely and blatantly ignored by all contractors leaving the height to be 12" when completed. When asked how or why this was not followed we were advised that we could figure out how to make it work. Grading and sloping of remaining ground is not completed to satisfaction due to the pool not being correctly installed. It appears now that we have an above ground pool surrounded by dirt. Communication is completely nonexistent unless contractor needs a check. The contractor in charge has yet to come to the property nor has he made any attempt to come up with a reasonable solution to fixing the numerous issues with the project to the point it is believed that our calls and texts have been blocked by him in an attempt to have no further contact. Crew retuned to the property on November 4, 2021 unannounced when no one was home in an attempt to cover up issues however in doing so the above ground lid to septic tank was damaged beyond repair. Contractor was contacted in reference to this we were advised that it was not their problem with no other reasoning other than he was not responsible for any utilities mind you this was a visible, at grade, surface lid not a buried lid. There are concerns with the pool pumps themselves however he completely refuses to discuss or look into these questions only offering that the landowners are ignorant and do not know how to operate pumps and valves with is very far from the truth. This is a very simple case of unrealistic homeowner expectations. Boyfriend trying to keep girlfriend happy with pool , new baby being born, lots of stress created. Enough was enough , I'm a small business and need paid for work performed . Bottom line, That didn't happen.
Contract has been completed 100% and I've paid for a safety cover that we still have not been paid for either. Currently owed from these customers is over $7,000. Pictures and contract are available for anyone to view on request. ****Customer response

Due to the failure of Blue Dolphin Pools to provide a contracted service to the specifications of the customer, refusal to communicate any attempts to resolve the numerous noted issues, failure to stand behind the contract and pre-agreed upon requirements of the customer, it has been decided by the customer that at this time we are asking for complete rejection of the project, full removal of the pool, concrete, stone, and any other work that was done by Blue Dolphin Pools and its contractors with full refund of any and all monies that have been pain to Blue Dolphin Pools. It is clear at this time that Blue Dolphin Pools is not and will not going to stand behind their work or services. Blue Dolphin Pools has completely blocked the customer from trying to contact them by phone. It is apparent at this time that the only viable solution is a full rejection of the product and demand for removal and repayment of monies to the customer so that all ties can be cut from Blue Dolphin Pools. It is unfortunate however it is obvious that there is no other solution to the issues at hand and Blue Dolphin Pools has made it very clear that they have zero intentions of correcting or trying to resolve these issues any other way.
