      Mayer Plumbing was called to fix a running toilet on Tues Aug 21,2023 they came out on Aug.22.2023. Replaced new inside hardware with a charge of $158.00 which was paid.,that evening toilet was back running, called the next morning service tech brought in NEW toilet without notifying me of what the cost was going to be or what needed done. I had to be at work so someone else let them in but did not give any authorization for this. I feel it was my choice if I wanted them to continue. I was not even given any type of credit for the parts put in ( the toilet taken out) less than 24 hrs previous to this and charged another service fee. I could have gotten a toilet for alot less money at ******* or **** ****** As of Sun Aug 27,2023 the toilet was again running. The latest bill was also paid against my better judgement and i am considering stopping payment until my toilet is fixed properly and also an adjustment in the bill is made. If some type of arrangements can not be made they can take the new toilet out bring my old one back and I will deal with the situation. I am not looking to create a problem for them or myself, I am looking to get my toilet fixed properly.

      Hi *****,

      I apologize for all the miscommunication. I did have a talk with this technician & explained that it is our policy to get approval prior to doing any work. I do know you had called last week & our office explained that we would be happy to have one of our head techs out to take a look at the toilet & you informed our receptionist you'd call back to schedule that. We however didn't hear back & then received this BBB complaint. We would have liked the opportunity to make it right. You then called yesterday 9/5/23 to request we come remove the new toilet, we did & brought a refund check for the full amount but our technician said you told him you had already stopped payment on the credit card. We are sorry that this was an undesirable experience.
