Paid them $484.92 in advance on 03-31-2022 to open our in ground swimming pool. Among the services we contracted for was starting the filter pump, cleaning the pool cover (an separate charge of $120.00), and adding shock treatment (chemicals) to the pool. A crew of 2 showed up on 05-05-2022 to open the pool. They started to vacuum the pool with their own sump pump and were pumping the water we just added over the previous 2 days over the hill and into the valley behind our property. We told them to stop wasting our water and please use the pool filter. They also stated that cleaning the pool cover actually meant shaking it off and folding it up. We have always cleaned our pool cover by pressure washing it. Storing it dirty is not acceptable. The 2 men left abruptly without saying anything or finishing opening the pool. We have called the company numerous times, left messages, spoke to Jackie. Someone named Wayne was supposed to call us by Monday of last week to resolve this issue, but no one has returned any of our calls for the last 2 weeks. They never started our pump and filter, never finished cleaning the pool, did not clean and store the pool cover, and never added the shock treatment, all of which we paid for. We are requesting a refund of the $120.00 we paid for cleaning the pool cover and 4 gallons of liquid shock which we had to purchase at a total cost of $36.00.
