Bought a truck about a month ago. During the test drive everything sounded fine. Drove 60 miles home from the dealership and immediately started hearing all kinds of noises when I got off the interstate coming to a stop. Took it to a local shop that I trust and they found the following issues: Front upper and lower ball joints Universal Joints Wheel bearings Steering linkage assembly Steering stabilizer Belt Tensioner Rear diff pinion seal Wheel speed sensor (There was more details from the warranty inspector, but these are the big items) Called the warranty company to see if they would replace it, after a week or two of waiting , I finally was told that the warranty they sold me wouldn't cover any pre-existing conditions. Called the dealership and they said they would help cover half the cost of parts, but didn't offer to cover the labor which would exceed the cost of parts by 3x. Most of these items are safety items and should have been addressed BEFORE it ever went on the lot for sale. The truck is not safe to drive right off the lot. Theres absolutely no way in **** that they didn't know about these issues as they are not minor issues. Now the dealership refuses to respond to the finance company to fix the vehicle and I refuse to transfer the title until it is fixed because there's only a ten day period after registering the vehicle to get it inspected in PA and almost all of the items above are required for inspection and for safety. Also Tax and title were the responsibility of the dealership, but the check they sent to the notary didn't even cover all the taxes. I'm almost 100% sure they just stuck some grease in the parts to keep them from being noticable until the vehicle was off the lot! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP UNLESS YOU PLAN ON SPENDING A COUPLE THOUSAND OFF THE BAT TO FIX IT!!!!!!! If you read the google reviews, they have been doing bad business with almost all their customers and performing illegal frame repairsBusiness response

Mr ****** did buy a truck from us but has neglected to say he purchased the vehicle as/is with a signed federal as / is agreement signed, also neglected to say that he told us he was a mechanic and test drove the truck. had a oppurtunity to have the truck inspected before purchase, which we have in writing. We did not sell Mr ****** a new truck this is a used truck, in fact a 2012 with 127K miles. i can fax documents to verify what ive said.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Mr. ******** called me this morning and has stated that a refund is being processed to my debit card (I provided card details over the phone). He was very professional and nice during the phone call given the circumstances, however, I will consider this matter resolved after a pending transaction to my bank is posted as nothing is showing for the next 2 days as of yet. I'm not claiming that the refund wasn't processed, but there could always be a banking error along the way. Also, the finance company will be refunding my December 2023 payment of $451.98, but is being mailed to Saunders Motor Co when the account is marked closed and would like the check to be mailed to me in that amount upon arrival. Even though this has been a big inconvenience, as I said, I will consider this resolved when the down payment refund of $1565.00 shows as pending and the December 2023 payment refund is sent via check in my name. As long as I get my money back, then I'll be satisfied with the outcome of this process and Mr. ******** and I can part ways with no hard feelings.
