The company edited my mystery shop application committing fraud without my permission.I never checked the box to give permission for a search to be done on my social security number never have I ever gave any mystery shop that type of personal access they have multiple scams ongoing I just noticed my last 4 of my social security numbers being displayed on the website for the first time I’m appalled and realize they unknowingly unlawfully search my personal information I have solid proof of the company action they also lie about why I was not paid for my shop job after I was told the photo and website inquiry would be acceptedBusiness response

I reviewed the complaint and spoke with the Client Services Manager. Ms ******* performed a mystery shop and did not follow the strict guidelines set by our client. In doing so, her shop was was rejected by our client and excluded from our reporting. Per IntelliShop policy, she was not paid for a shop performed incorrectly. I have attached an email conversation here for clarity. In response to her claim regarding her social security number, She is required enter a valid ss# during the process of registering as a mystery shopper with IntelliShop. This information is used to create a 1099 for tax reporting purposes. I have attached a screenshot of IntelliShop's "Shopper Hub" used to sign up as a shopper. Ms ******* deleted her profile in our system so was can no longer verify what was originally entered into our system. Thank you.

Mr. ***** was a contactor with us in 2016 until he cancelled several assigned projects and was very rude/hostile toward our scheduling team. His account was subsequently deactivated and blocked from any further work with IntelliShop. Since that time, he has made multiple attempts to get back into our system. Due to Mr. ***** past behavior, he is no longer welcome at IntelliShop and we reserve the right to choose independent contractors that best fit the needs of each project.Initial Complaint

$100 T-Mobile Cell Phone Shop My issue is there was no way possible to complete this shop, not sure if it's a t-mobile problem or a intelli-shop issue but there lies the problem. Well calling and speaking with a couple people from T-mobile they said that in stores they have to activate devices, no ifs ands or buts. Can't even buy a gift to activate later essentially. Anyways there were over 100 questions, and since the in store T-mobile employee Geo would not allow me to buy a phone or watch or any device without activation, the shop ended there. So after preparing, driving, doing the shop running into this issue, I let *** ******* know that T-mobile in general will not sell devices without activation which means the entire shop is a bait and switch as a $100 shop. I took the required pictures and uploaded them and contacted him (the scheduler) and *** then proceeded to tell me I needed to finish the report. There are over 100 questions/ fill ins!!! The questions were not applicable to me and so even if I could finish it, is basically a scam as he wanted to "maybe" pay me $15 for the $100 shop. Bait and switch at its finest and could even result in a class action lawsuit. Expectations for the shop need to be adjusted, I mean I could just stop working with intelli-shop of this is how I get treated for being honest. Isn't that what you want from a shopper? But as a report on a completely "failed shop" destined to fail (CANT BE COMPLETED), not sure what answering all the questions with blank 0s would do anything. Makes me wonder how many people he has done this too. Have rarely had any issues with other intelli-shop employees but this guy is different. He even deflects it to its JD POWER--- well they must not have reviewed t-mobiles policies on this shop destined to inevitable be failed, then answer questions you can't answer??? In this case you are asking me to finish a $100 shop for $15 when I already wasted multiple trips to the store and my time.Customer response

Was not resolved!!! Business ignored me... Never saw letter from BBB.
