I was trying to move from the ********* area to ******* ******. We had a contract with PODs, which transported the POD from their ********* warehouse to ********** then refused to deliver it: 1) Prior to booking our POD, I called (May 2 for a June 15 initial drop off) to make sure they could service our delivery area. Told yes. 2) Prior to the POD being dropped off to be filled in ***, I called again to confirm delivery dates/times and that they could service the delivery area. Told yes again. 3) POD was delivered to me on June 15. Our family spent several days filling it. PODs *** picked it up on June 20. It was scheduled to be transported to ********** and delivered on June 25. 3) At 5:30 p.m. the night before the scheduled final delivery of the filled POD, I received an email abruptly canceling delivery and telling me they couldn't service the area. 4) When I received the email at 6:30 p.m. I called to try to determine next steps. I was told I would need to drive to ********** to pick up my POD. I had no way to do this. I was told to call back the next day (Saturday) during business hours. 5) Called on Saturday 6/25. Tier 2 told me they would send the case to a resolution specialist and that I could expect a call in 2-3 business days. 6) By Wednesday at 4:30, no call. I called into the only number I have -- a general customer service number for PODs corporate. Sent to the voicemail of a resolution specialist. 7) Thursday, still no call. June 30 8) Friday, still no call. July 1 Throughout the process I have heard the following: 1) We should not have told you we could deliver to ******* 2) Tyler (I think the DM or RM) said that we are too busy and cannot deliver it 3) We will call you as soon as possible I have reached out via social channels as well, trying to get a ***ar picture on what I need to do to retrieve my things and be refunded for the PODs fees and be reimbursed for the costs I incurred filling the POD in the first place.
