Change machine at car wash ate $20 Bill. Contacted owner over 3 months ago, he stated he would mail it back and took my address. Never received a thing. Today again tried to get a car wash and machine ate my $10 Bill. There is so many negative reviews about the car wash.Initial Complaint

August 10, 2023, the automatic car wash indicated that my car was in the correct spot, however, the arm came down and proceeded to deeply scratch the paint off of my rear bumper beyond repair to the point where I have to involve my insurance company. I’m sure the owner is protected from this but the refusal to communicate leaves other customers at risk. This has become the most expensive car wash I have ever purchased. Also, the car wash was distributing very small amounts of soap and most phases of the wash were just water. My car was virtually hosed off and scratched. The reviews on this wash are littered with people getting ripped off with the owner’s full knowledge followed up by a conscious lack of addressing the issue. A message that says “if the machine ate your money, leave your address and I’ll mail you a refund.” No refunds are issued. I’m a victim of that years ago and foolishly gave it another chance. Even for a small town, this is beyond lazy. The fact that this person/persons is allowed to continue operations before making significant improvements is a scam and absolute negligence of the BBB. My only assumption is that they’re successfully laundering through this “business” and for that I am impressed. They have avoided investigation for a long time if that’s the case. I almost want to withdrawal my complaint out of admiration. I won’t, though, because I sacrificed time and energy for the money that I now have to blow on a deductible. For that, it has become personal because I hate that I am right here, right now, writing this. I am behaving like my least favorite type of person. I’m simply asking for accountability.
