In early August 2023 we hired this business to pour a new concrete patio. They poured the concrete but it was shoddy and was graded toward the house. It was the wrong shade as well. No expansion strips were installed which were supposed to be between the house and the concrete. Consumer did not know that was necessary until another contractor told her to. The consumers were not supposed to pay until the job was done but the business kept asking consumers to pay before the job was finished. They stopped working for a period of time until they were paid. Consumers paid it to get the job done. They did not come back and said it was because Mrs. ****** kicked them off the property. They did eventually finish the job but water was pooling around the house which could damage the foundation. Consumer called several contractors out to give their opinion on the job and see if it could just be leveled. Everybody said it needed to be pulled out and redone. Consumer has someone else lined up to re-do the job next week and it will cost more than the original estimate because they will have to rip out the job.Business response

I am sorry ***** feels this way i actually talked on the phone with her yesterday thru **** leads about how we can resolve this problem. She was saying she was going to send me pics and never did. Every time me or my partner try to talk to her she is very disrespectful and hostile towards us I have no problem going over there to meet with her just not if she is going to be disrespectful towards us are number one priority is making sure the customers we do work for are happy. We did everything at that job the way we explained to the customer so again I’m sorry she feels this way and we will do what we can to get this issue resolved

I am rejecting this response because: I did send pics to Shawn and Cody via text, and also to the companys email, along with requests for varification that they were received. Those messages were ignored, as well as several others that I have sent to them. I deny any hostility or disrespect toward them. They are offended that I called the job shoddy, and that I am not happy with it. They consider that hostility and disrespect.
I spoke with ***** from **** on Fri., who relayed to S&C that they can come to my house anytime. ***** informed me at noon on Fri. Sept 8th that S&C will contact me to arrange a time to meet at my house. I have not gotten any communiction from them, and my messages continue to be ignored. I expect S&C to contact me in a timely manner to discuss a resolution to our botched concrete job.

*****I want to add to my response that it is evident that S&C is accusing me of being hostile as an excuse not to answer for their shoddy workmanship. I am litterally a little old lady, and I am absolutely no threat
