A complaint of this nature is dealt with the highest priority. The source and entry method of the hack may never be identified, but we use every precaution available to us to protect users of our website. The checkout process has been certified as secure. We use a cyber security company called SiteLock and they continually scan and clean our site for malware. We consider contact information as 100% private.Review from Brad S

Did an order and immediately got scammed. Thousands of emails and credit card information was stolen.Doors On-line, Inc. Response

This customer placed an order and accused us of a scam because his credit card had malicious charges against it on the same day as his purchase from Doors On-line. This customer also accused us of malicious actions with his email because he also received spam emails. Doors On-line took this accusation very seriously and we immediately contacted our website technician to scan our website and the credit card checkout system for any malware breach. NONE WERE FOUND. To ensure this finding, Doors On-line took additional measures by hiring an independent cyber security company called Securi (Securi.com). Once again, no malware or security breaches were found. This was one isolated complaint of this nature out of tens of thousands of orders received over the 20 year lifespan for Doors On-line. Doors On-line also purchases an annual security certificate that assures website users that they are on a secure website. This security is indicated by the "s" shown after the http in the website URL address. For example: https://doorson-line.com. It is natural to suspect a personal security problem may have resulted from the most recent online purchase, but in this case, it was a false accusation made purely from a false assumption.Review from Samuel S

I ordered a door for a shop being built almost over 2 months ago. The door was supposed to arrive about 3 weeks ago. A week after it didn’t show I emailed customer service asking about it. After a few more emails from me over the past weeks asking about the door, since they would never reply with any useful information, I was told today that the order was lost and they have to start again, and delivery won’t be for more than a month. How is an order lost after I pay in full, and no one tells me? Now it’s the middle of winter, I’m trying to finish a shop, but I’m missing a door. Horrible experience, poor communication, would not recommend.Doors On-line, Inc. Response

Yes, the manufacturer lost the order and Doors On-line was not aware of the problem until the due date for delivery came. The order was then expedited and the customer was offered a discount of about $3500 on a $6500 order and he seemed happy to accept it for a total of $3000.Review from Dereck D

Beware!! Price mark up on accessories is close to 500%. Example- Garage Door weather strip on bottom of an AMARR 1000 Oak Summit Garage door ($470). They want to charge $160 just for the 16' weather strip. Average cost for weather strips are $30. This weather strip is very thin and not considered heavy duty. The boy who answered the phone did not know much about garage doors or about the quality of the item I was asking about. If they are trying to make money off this type of accessory, I think it speaks to the non-customer type company they want to be. This particular weather strip is rare because it's dove tail, not T or bead. This is also may be why they are gouging the price. Do your homework.Doors On-line, Inc. Response

There are many types of garage doors and bottom seals. Replacement is often problematic unless we sold the door originally. We would prefer you visit Amazon for your bottom seal replacement unless we sold the door to you or if you have one of the door models we sell. The Oak Summit model is not a model we sell, so a full width bottom retainer for the seal may be necessary. This is a long and fragile aluminum part that can cost hundreds to deliver without high risk of damage.Customer Response

Here we go. You did sell it. You may not now, which is why you wrote in the present tense. I did my research. Beware, they are good with words to so they can price gauging and keep from helping the customer.Review from Gary C

Was going to purchase a bottom seal for a 18' garage door from this company and they were 3 times the price as other companies. New seal with no warranty and no return. This company is a ripoff and taken people's money. I give them a zero for customer service. I got the same part from one of the other companies for 1/3 of the cost with 2 day shipping and a 30 day return policy.Doors On-line, Inc. Response

I had my door installed this spring on a brand new house. The doors do not function they come off the track, the radius is wrong and they will not change them, just back and forth with the sales rep. I wish I used a local company with integrity, I will be taking this to court! Can’t wait.Doors On-line, Inc. Response

The customer's doors used the same 12" radius track that 80% of residential garage doors use throughout the industry, however the installer that was contracted to install, had to make several service calls before the doors were operating properly. To our knowledge, the service was completed to the customer's satisfaction. This customer filed a credit card dispute to get a refund but would not pay once the service was completed, which forces us to submit the case to a collection agency.Review from Ike B

Highly dissatisfied. I purchased two Janus 1950 doors last fall that were shipped with defects in the gearbox that caused damages to the initial installed units and I had to request a new gearbox for the one that became unsafe to operate. The replacement gearbox also had the same defect and instead of the manufacturer correcting the problem before shipment, I was given instructions on how to fix the defect by a technician before installation. The second door's gearbox also needed to be fixed and while it was not at that time inoperable, there was wearing. It is now slipping considerably. This spring one of the doors slipped its track due to a gust of wind, causing the door and the vehicle stored behind it to be damaged significantly. I sent a claim to Janus through Doors On-line, who refused to replace it due to the door not being "wind rated". The door was used for light-duty work as indicated in the brochure (boat and RV storage) and there is no mention of the door being ill-suited for exterior purposes where there is the expectation of the occasional adverse weather. Overall, I am exceedingly dissatisfied with the amount of work that I've had to put into these expensive, new doors and how quickly they have become unsafe for use from the get-go due to manufacturer defects and the misleading absence of key information about the intended use of these doors. I messaged the company two months ago to attempt a resolution but have only received radio silence.Doors On-line, Inc. Response

The gear box problem is a manufacturer's warranty, so this was channeled through Janus and they provided new parts at no charge. The storm damage is an insurance issue. The doors purchased were 12' wide and we have always provided this warning in the online model description: "Please consider the model # 2500 or 3652 for doors over 10' wide that will be subject to strong windward storms." The photos provided showed the building had no center post between the 2 doors, so it appeared the storm blew out the center post of the building. The damage to the vehicle appeared to be a cracked windshield on a 30 year old car of little value. Our email string indicates 11 messages sent from Doors on-line regarding these issues.Review from Cary B
