On 10/1/23, I purchased a flight from www.cheapflightsfreak.com for a price of $536.06 (shown in the email attached). However, my credit card was subsequently charged by LOT airlines for $556.40 (attached) even though the charge listed in the email was $536.06. When I asked the company's support team if this charge would be updated to the correct value, they replied that I was responsible for the difference (attached). I am seeking a billing adjustment to the agreed upon charge amount of $536.06 for my ticket.Business response

On 25 Apr 2021 we purchased 2 round trip tickets to New Orleans for a total of $*** from company Cheap Flight Freaks. Due to extenuating circumstances we were unable to take the trip and therefore the company gave us a credit of $*** to use within a year. Mar 2022 we contacted the company to use our credit for a trip to Vegas. Our previous flight was booked with ******** ******** but we didn’t see flights for that carrier on their website. The customer service rep told us to find the flight we wanted on the ******** ******** website and provide him with the flight number and he’d book our flight. We found round trip tickets for a total of $****. We gave him the flight info and he stated with our $*** credit we owed $****. We asked how he come up with this price instead of $*** which would be the difference in the flights. He stated they used a different system and that was the price. We then researched 2 additional locations in hopes of getting better ticket prices but each time they quoted prices that were completely different than shown on the carriers website. This is unacceptable and not a good business practice. They do not try to help or work with the customer at all. This is robbery and seems like a scam at this point. This company should be held accountable. We should not have to pay double to use tickets we’ve already purchased. We want to use or tickets but they are making it impossible due to pricing gauging.Business response

Dear BBB Team,
We have investigated the reservation. According to the airline's policies, we can only exchange tickets in the same or higher class as the fare purchased.
According to the airlines, if there is a difference, it must be paid by the customer. We are abided by the rules of the airlines.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of my decision appear below.
Their response did not rectify the issue! I am aware that we would have to pay the difference in the price of the tickets. We have a $*** credit. We found round trip tickets on the ******** ******** website for $**** total. Due to our credit of $***, I expected to pay the $*** difference. Our problem is the cheap flight freaks rep asked us for the flight number we found on ******** ******** and stated our credit of $*** would be applied and we owed an additional $****. When asked how he came up with that price he stated they use a different system than the airlines. If that’s the case, why ask me to go to the airline’s website and give you a flight number if your prices are completely different. At this point, the company has made it extremely hard to use our credit. They have literally taken our money. A fix for this would be a present us with ticket prices that are in-line with the airline prices or a refund. We had until 26 Apr 22 to use these tickets and they are ensuring we are unable to use our credit.

to whom it may concern: I need you to get back $ ****** from CFF *********** - Ohio. The reason being is that flight plans were changed and I never received the current updated information. Therefore, my wife wasn't allowed on the plane yesterday and is still in Mexico. The original debit card charge was $ ***.1* of which they gave me back $ ***.**. *************************** and ***************************** tickets were booked through the Cheap Flights Freak website on 27/1/2020 with a confirmation code of TNAFFJ. Because of the ****** their flight got cancelled. I called the company on 11/5/2021, and they asked me to pay $35/ticket for future credit of change flight fee, and the balance was $730.55 per ticket. I paid this fee at this time. I called the company on 4/2/2022 to rebook the tickets, and they said I couldn't rebook the ticket after 31/3/2022 as per ***** airlines policy. I called ***** Airlines, and they said they extended their policy till 31/12/2023. I called the company again to tell them this, the guy told me that we don't know anything about this extension policy, and we will send ***** airlines to ask them. I asked him to resolve the problem at that time, and he said I couldn't. I asked him that I wanted to speak to his supervisor, he responded, saying that no one was available now and the manager would call me within 24 hours. Of course, no one called me back. I called them today; another person spoke to me and told me the extension policy of ***** Airlines is till 31/12/2022. I told him, well, I want to rebook my wife and son's tickets. I gave him the exact dates that I found cheap on the ***** Airlines website ($927/ticket). He told me the same ticket is available at $1030 as well as he wants me to pay an extra $50/ticket change. Putting in mind, they took $35/ticket previously for the same reason. I asked him that I wanted to speak to his supervisor, and the same happened on Friday, he told me no supervisors were available, and they will call me in 24 hours. As you know, no one will call as for the first time, and no one wants to resolve the problem. This is so frustrating for a healthcare worker that doesn't have the time for this waste of time. I don't know how a fraud company like this that doesn't even care about their customers' satisfaction is accredited by Better Business Bureau (BBB).Business response

Dear BBB Team,
We have investigated this reservation.
It has been advised of the fare difference and the processing fees applicable by the airlines for the bulk reservation, as it is the policy of the airlines, they accept the changes to be done on same or the above class of economy. It will be applicable to use according to the updated policy of ***** Airlines, it is valid till 2023. In case the airline extends it further, it will be automatically extended.
The tickets are non-refundable and can be used for future credit as per the policy of the airlines.
