I bought a food and drink pass on mine, my wife's pass and our sons pass and when my wife became an employee they took her pass perks away and refused to give us a refund or compensation for the loss. So now when we go to a park we'd have to pay again for the all day dinning and drink passes.Review from Bob S

Took my grandkids to Cedar Point 9/20/24 and was totally disappointed that a lot of the rides were not operating for the money that we spent going there. Had we known about this we wouldve went to ************ instead. Ticket prices shouldve been half off since a lot of the rides wasnt operating.Review from Preshous A

To Whom It May ********* am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the experience my family and I had during our visit to Cedar Point on 08/11/2024. Issues at Steel Vengeance When we approached the ride, we were informed that we had to purchase a locker to store our bags as we could not carry anything onto the ride. Unfortunately, the lockers available were completely full and overcrowded. We were left with no choice but to place our items on top of the lockers. After securing our belongings, we returned to the line and approached a metal detector, where we were informed that we needed to use another set of lockers because I was not allowed to take my glasses on the ride. I complied and placed my glasses in a locker that had no door. After enjoying the ride, we attempted to retrieve our belongings. However, the instructions provided by the staff were unclear and, after asking for directions four times, we still struggled to locate our lockers. When we finally made our way back to the two staff members at the front of the ride, we were told that we could not return to the area where our items were stored and were instead directed to place our items in another locker. We requested assistance from the employee or asked if someone could help retrieve our items, only to be met with a dismissive and disrespectful response. The employee said, "Listen to me, I work here, and I'm telling you, you can't go this way. You have to go the other way." Despite re-explaining our situation, we were sent to another employee without any further assistance. The entire ordeal was extremely frustrating, especially considering the significant amount of money we spent during our visit to Cedar Point. To be treated so unfairly and to have our concerns dismissed is both unacceptable and disappointing. I expect a theme park of Cedar Points caliber to offer better customer service and support for its visitors.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Review from Tony S

Trying to save ppl the hassle and their money. We stayed at castaway bay one night and the next we had tickets to go to cedar point ($400) bundle for a family of 4. The day was June 26, 2024 cedar point closed down for the day and we thought we would just use our tickets again for another day but after contacting them apparently they dont have a rain check policy so we was screwed out of the money. I hope others report them for the dirt bags they are.Cedar Point Response

This Guest was contacted and assisted by a member of our Guest Experience Team. Due to inclement weather, we had previously reactivated all waterpark tickets used on the date of this Guest's visit. Any Guests with qualifying tickets can use them to visit Cedar Point Shores on any public operating day this season.Review from MARCIA J

Me and my husband went there for 1st time because everyone was recommending for us to go there. Let's just say that it was the worst time and worst day of our lives ever. We have been to ************ and Holiday World and Splashing Safari and we had a blast. I would never recommend anyone going to Cedar Point ever. The workers were the most hateful and rudessest people we have ever seenand spoke to us like we were dogs. If you want to spend a fortune then you can go there but Cedar Point makes you pay for everything separate it's totally ridiculous. Let me not go into how much you have to walk just to go from 1 Rollercoaster to another ride. Most of the time being there we walked half the time. On top of that don't get the souvigner drink cup because you can't even get on the rides if you have them. My question is why offer the stupid cups if you can't ride the rides it makes no sense. Also when we were there at least 4 rides were down because of high winds and the T2 Rollercoaster was down as well. And also they were out of ice for so long as well when we went to get a refill in our cups. Sad thing was me and my husband witnessed a young girl with a prosthetic leg that got all the way up on a Rollercoaster and then the workers told her she could not ride the ride. Me and my husband went and just for us 2 with the Fast Pass was over $500. That was just for the ************** side that did not include the Waterpark its $49/ person to get that. I would never recommend this place to anyone to go to. Also me and my husband filed out a contact thing on there website for a manager to contact us back on June 24 the day afterwards and they still have not contacted us back. Also we have called there Park contact phone number and no one ever picks up the phone. Why have a place and contact phone number if you never call back or answer the phone. This place is the most unprofessional place and worst place you want to go you are truly wasting your time and money.Review from Karen I

Deceptive practices. Ordered tickets in July for 8-8-23. Used the promotion Christmas in July. Not once did the system tell me the tickets were not good after 7-31. Got to park and guest services said it was written in the “I agree” section. Since I got no red flags as I was ordering, I hit consent. Yes, my fault for not reading fine print. I reviewed my order making sure my date was correct thinking I was good to go.Review from Farrion F

My first experience was awful. The workers were rude. I was exiting the park to take some items to the car. Before exiting the park a worker told me I was okay to leave out because my son had already had his picture taken and his return ticket. When I was reentering the park, the worker at the front told me I could not come in because I didn’t have a return ticket. But from my understanding I didn’t need one because my son already had one. I had to call my boyfriend from inside the park to show the workers my ticket. That took 20 minutes to resolve. Also my son lost his phone. I was told a worker dropped a phone off to the lost and found. I walked to the lost and found and was told no phone was brought to them. I still haven’t received my sons iPhone. Also my family got the food and drink pass. We were made to pay for our drinks. We spent over 500 dollars. Was not worth it. The workers were awful and had bad attitudes. Also they don’t warn you there’s a vicious mommy bird that attacks people when they’re walking passed a tree. I was attacked and so was one of my family members a couple hours before. They need to warn people about that. My first experience with my family here was terrible.Review from Tiara H

My 13 son had cedar point and food pass that was suspended indefinitely due to him sitting inside the hotel on a couch claiming they were trespassing yet no crime was committed and they are middle school children who simply left at being asked to leave and I picked them up. Would give zero starsReview from A. G.

I bought a Season pass good at ALL Cedar Fair parks. My son qualifies for the pre-k pass - great! I sign him up for one at Carowinds (near our home) and one at Cedar Point. Come January 2023, I go to Carowinds and provide proof of my son and his age via passport. Our Cedar Point trip isn't until mid- August. Cedar Fair / Cedar Point policy demands that I drive my son up there with his passport prior to 8/1 to prove he exists and his age - both of which I have already proven repeatedly at Carowinds already. This is a terrible policy. If I have season pass good at any park, and have already proven my sons age/ID at one of your parks, how can you not honor that? How can you be a company of integrity asking me to drive 16 hours round trip to prove his ID to save me from having to purchase 4 days of tickets for him, when he should be free. Incredibly disappointing. With a company of your size and capability, I expect better.Cedar Point Response
