Work began with ****** Custom Painting and Pressure Washing around 3-3-2022 to replace damaged deck boards, stairs and repaint the deck, in addition to pressure washing the house. - Job total was $2600.00 with a $900.00 upfront payment. We were coerced to pay more for replacing rotten/damaged deck boards even though it was written as part of the contact. See picture of contract (image 4) - The dispute is regarding the company failing to finish the job despite demanding full payment. As a consumer I know it is a bad idea to pay before all of the work is complete, but I did pay in full as I felt intimidated into paying as owner ***** ****** rose his voice in anger with me about not wanting to pay yet. - After paying I have contacted the company multiple times to come back out and finish the job. He would give a date and then not show up. After a few weeks of ailing to show up, he simply did not respond to any messages. I have not heard from the company since June 28th. images are attached of the unfinished work. - I would like reimbursement for the unfished work and paid for the value of the work warranty. If possible, I would prefer to terminate any obligation to ****** as I am not comfortable with him or his crew being at my house, and I don't trust he would honor the warranty. - To reiterate, the business has not tried to resolve this with me despite repeated attempt to contact him.Initial Complaint

On 22 May 2022 I contacted Keyton Customs about painting a few rooms in my house. After consulting with the owner he said they would prep, caulk, and repaint the living room, hallway, and 2 bedrooms. The job was originally estimated to take 2-3 days and cost $5250. Work began on Thursday the 26th. After 6 days of painting and 11 days after the work began, they had issues with the paint blending properly and left some paint splatter on the carpet. When I contacted the owner about the issues I was told they would return June 6th to fix the paint. After conversing with the owner about the issues he told me they would try a new color to make the walls blend properly. I also insisted that the crew utilize drop cloths to prevent any more splatter from getting on the carpet. At the end of the day there was more paint on the carpet, the bathroom vanity, the kitchen door, along with a couple doors. I tried to contact the owner to have the issues resolved and I have heard no response so far. The walls were never finished and there is a bare spot with spackle on the wall. I also found cigarette butts on the floor of the kitchen and living room.
