Pushed back the quote on my roof by approximately one week. Was told that they would call me with the estimate but they never did. When I called them, I was told they would call me back and they still have not called (3 days later)

We have a very large house that needed a roof replacement. We decided to get multiple estimates. Roof Dog came in the lowest, but that’s not necessarily the way to choose a company. Sometimes it’s the way to rule a company out! But when Dale Fent came to take measurements he was very thorough. He noticed the original roof had no ice guard protection, so he wrote that into the contract. (It’s a state law since 2010). The other 2 estimates did not mention ice guard. (It’s important because this country home gets a lot of wind, snow and ice and our 17 year old home had an issue where water was running down an interior wall a couple years back). He brought sample books and helped us pick the color. He brought a team out the very next week. The guys were very knowledgeable and efficient. We watched the work and was amazed at the speed and yet, they were cautious to check out everything really well. The guys did our entire roof in a day and a 1/2 and it looks amazing! They cleaned up the yard well afterwards. We give them an A+++ and recommend Roof Dog. The extra + was for bringing Clyde the Roof Dog’s dog to the house when we signed the papers.

We could not be more pleased with Roof Dog. The price was in line with other estimates. We were able to schedule our new roof quickly. The crew was very professional and pleasant. They were very careful around our landscaping. absolutely no damage. They spent quite a bit of time on clean up when the job was finished. Did a great job. the new roof looks wonderful. We are very pleased with the entire process. Would recommend Roof Dog to anyone. Great people to work with

We hired Roof Dog LLC to solve a problem with a leaking metal roof. Rob agreed to replace all the screws with 40yr screws, replace the ridge cap and ventilation enclosures, install new pipe flashing, and re-seal all misplaces(sic) lap joints. This was all per written contract. Also written on the contract was a 10yr guarantee on labor. The contract was dated 8/21/2020. A deposit of $250 was given on 9/24/20 and the job was completed and paid for on 10/19/2020. The following spring we noticed that there was a small leak and Rob came out and sealed some joints in the area and that problem was solved. In the spring of 2022, we found a leak in another area. This time, when I contacted Rob, he was reluctant to solve the problem. After repeated calls Rob came out and sealed a few seams. The leak was not fixed and Rob said the problem was no longer his. We met on 8/8/2022 and came to a verbal agreement that we would purchase sealant and Rob would accept a payment for the labor. On 9/21/2022 and 9/23 we contacted Rob via text and he said he would come out and that within 2 weeks was reasonable but he wanted paid in advance and we agreed we would have the material at the site and could pay him in cash the day the job was completed. Four weeks later we had heard nothing so we contacted another contractor. This contractor came out, assessed that the sealing was inadequate and took care of it with the materials we purchased. When we told Rob we had a contractor out, he stated he was planning on coming out in 2 days. We informed him it was not necessary. Our position on the guarantee is that the entire job was labor. Also, if the seams were leaking that indicated they were mis-aligned. The other contractor said he found screws that were not in correctly and a screw hole not sealed and that was the likely cause of the leaking. We are sorely disappointed in this company.
