My encounter with Rich's Auto Care was incredibly frustrating and left me deeply dissatisfied. I initially asked them to change my alternator, but instead, they charged me $110 for a diagnostic test that only revealed a bad battery. I ended up paying $470+ for a battery replacement, which is outrageously overpriced. 10 days later, my car broke down on the highway, 100 miles away from home, due to a dead alternator. When I contacted Rich's Auto Care for help, they quoted me $970 for the alternator replacement, $170 more than what ******* in Sunbury quoted. Despite their initial misdiagnosis, Brett, their customer service manager, said they aren't responsible and continued to make excuses like "we aren't sure what you did in the 10 days since leaving here" and "so you've only put 200 miles on your car in 10 days? Doesn't seem likely". I just moved to the area and I found what auto shop I WON'T be going to.Review from Kael L

Took my car to Rich’s for rear brake pads replacement and sensor wire replacement. They let me know they wouldn’t warrant the job unless I did rotors also. I opted to not have rotors replaced. The next day I was driving my car a brake light came on saying I needed to replace rear brake pads. Took the car back in and asked them to reset sensors which they claimed to do. They stated that the reason the sensor was re-triggering was because the rotors were bad which was a blatant lie. I took the car home and reset the sensor myself and car has been fine with no sensors firing for the last 3 weeks. They lied to me so that they could try and make me buy new rotors also, luckily I knew enough to not trust them.Review from Thom A

Not a good value for your dollar. They were not able to find the cause of cupped tires on my pick up truck. At the same time I had them ******************** service. I took my truck to another repair shop and they replaced, drag link, tie rod end and performed 4 wheel tire balance and alignment. Problem solved, wasted time at Rich's. 7 months later my transmission developed a leak from the pan . I had to have the transmission serviced again to get leak fixed. Not good
