I had ******* color my hair after talking with her about what I wanted and told her of my past horrible experiences. I explained to her that it also had to look good up in a bun which she assured me it would. She turned me away from the mirror while doing my hair! When done, I was very happy with it initially, but as I looked closer, I noticed a very dark, thin section next to my forehead and along one side of my face. I texted ******* to tell her the hair next to my face was too dark and needed to be copper to blend in with the rest when I wear my hair up. She said she could do a "Money Piece". I went in for the color correction. I was turned away from the mirror and ******* says, "What did you do to your hair? I do not usually do 'In-betweens'." She insinuated I had done something to my hair! (******* knew I sometimes used a temporary cover for gray hair in-between coloring appointments to make the color last longer.) I told her that she did this! ******* proceeded to fix my hair, all while being turned away from the mirror and dropping the brush and still using it! The end result was orange hair! She knew I was unhappy when I left the salon. That same day I came back with my sister to talk with *******, who was very rude. She said, "This isn't going to be one of those situations where you are getting your money back! This is what you do!" And, because I had my sister with me, "I don't need a Tag Team!"...which is a wrestling term. To add to her unprofessional, extremely disrespectful attitude, she crudely shooed me off by waving her hand at me. ******* was unbelievably rude and disrespectful. I was her client! I had told her in the beginning that if she were uncomfortable doing my hair, I would prefer she not do it. She assured me it would not be a problem. I was her client! I had done nothing to her. I spoke with ****** and sent her pictures who said she would check into it and get back to me and still hasn’t! I have spent alot of unnecesaary money trying to repair and having it colored again by a reputable Beautician. I would like the monies back I have paid to *******. It should have been a very simple fix, which any reputable Beautician could have done. She has caused me alot of distress, money, time and has possibley further damage to my hair! I was clear when I had my consult with her and asked if she was comfortable taking me on as a client. She assusred me she was. To blame me is unacceptable!Business response

In this situation I would not issue a refund to a previous appointment. A complimentary service was given after her initial appointment. I was no longer comfortable working with her after the second appointment because we were not a good fit and didn't feel I could make her happy.

Complaint: ********The pictures attached are from April 12, 2023 when ******* first colored my hair and the second is from ******* fixing the really dark hair by my face on April 27, 2023. When I put my hair up I told her it had to look good in a bun. The really dark hair didn't even go around my whole face it was only on the the top and one side.
I am rejecting this response because: The response by the owner of the Salon is ridiculous. As an owner of a salon, I would expect her to want her Beautician's to act professionally and not as ******* did. If she was in the Salon and knew this was going on why didn't she come over and talk to me? I left with orange hair! I paid good money to have my hair done. ($192.00 with the tip) In the interum I had to pay for products to repiar my hair AND for someone else to fix it!The response by ******* is even more ludicrous! After all I was her client and spoke to her in detail about what I wanted and she understood. What could have been a simple fix by just doing the little bit of hair by my face turned into a nightmare for me. As a professsional I would expect ******* to know what to do to acieve this! I am guessing by her stating that, "I don't do inbetweens" means to me that she has no idea how to fix her mess ups! Afterall, that is what a good beautician should do? For her to treat me the way she did is utterly appauling! The complimentary service was for her to fix what SHE messed up! Would either **** or ******* accept orange hair as an end result? I highly doubt it! Yet I am expected to be okay with it and walk around in public like that? All ******* had to do in the initial consult was tell me she was uncomfortable doing my hair and I would have found someone else to do it. That would have been better than everything she put me through!!!!
