New heat pump installed 6-2022. With a guarantee for 1 yr on labor. pump had 5 yr warranty. Summer air conditioning was fine until Sept 2022 came & we turned the heat on in Nov & it was blowing cold air. It was kicking off & back on & off again. He is hard to reach on the phone. He did come out asap. He unhook the air conditioner & just hooked up the heat & it worked for awhile but we had to have him back. He thought it was fixed. a red light said auxiliary heat I flipped over to emergency heat. I sent Jeremiah a picture to the thermostat & it was not running properly. I had to track him down. he has been out at least 3 times since Sept,. This entire winter we have run on emergency heat.Business response

Initially when first performing work for Mrs. ***** I was paid with a bad check. I had decided not to even perform any additional work for her. She then gave me a story about it not being her fault and felt sorry for her. So I decided I would help her out making it very clear I would only take Cash, Cashiers check or money order for payment. I’m a small business and have been in business for almost 5 year and out of many hundreds of customers this is the second time I have ever had an issue with a customer which is bound to happen to with business.
I have went above and beyond for Mrs *****. I helped and worked with her insurance directly and even reduced my estimate so she could afford to pay her insurance deductible. I have been there numerous times and every time the equipment is working properly. I always have someone with me every time who can verify this. After I leave maybe a day or week later she contacts me to tell me she is have a problem again.
The insurance company was only willing to replace the heat pump and coil but not the furnace. The furnace is old and in poor condition. I have continued to try and make the heat pump work with the existing equipment. I told her I wanted to try and replace a part to see if we can resolve the situation at my expense. I have not been able to get the part due to being back ordered. I have told her numerous times when the part comes in I would notify her and schedule with her.
Not only in the HVAC industry is there a problem with the supply chain but ever trade there have been ongoing issue. This is happening everywhere in the country and in know way can I or anyone else control this. You see the same issue when you go to any retail store as well.
I am not giving anyone the run around I have been diligently trying to help solve the issue with the new heat pump to work with the old furnace. I have hundreds of customers that would gladly give excellent reference on me and my work. I take pride in my work and all I do.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: he stated that he wasn’t cashing that check it would be included in the estimate from the insurance company so that is a lie and everything this contractor said isn’t true. I have all contact with Jeremiah and proof that my texts and messages have went unanswered or he always had an excuse as to why he couldn’t come out and as far as the furnace, he never mentioned anything about the furnace needing replaced. He never even included that in with the estimate to the insurance company. So this is the first that I have heard of anything being a problem about our furnace. I have also been waiting since January to find out about a part that he is guessing that he thinks may fix the problem with the heat pump. I have showed him proof that the heat pump is not working properly so that is not my fault. The fact of the matter is he doesn’t even let me know what is going on, and he guaranteed his work for a year would leave all labor paid for, but yet here we are almost a year later and the problem still isn’t fixed so he thinks that I’m going to pay him to fix the problem that’s been going on since September 2022 I don’t think so. I want this problem fixed and I need it fixed as soon as possible. My heat pump wasn’t working the entire winter reran on emergency heat and my heat heat bill was outrageous because of this and he didn’t seem to care. Jeremiah’s heating and cooling needs to fix this problem as soon as possible because this is ridiculous. I have a brand new heat pump that doesn’t even work properly. This is so ridiculous. All I want is this to be fixed why can’t he just come out and fix the problem instead of playing guessing games and not even letting the customer know what the problem is. If this problem isn’t fixed soon, I’m going to show proof of all of the text and pictures that I sent to Jeremiah and all of the chats that I sent that went on answered, and all of the excuses that I had from Mr. Jeremiah about why he couldn’t take a phone call or he couldn’t call me back and never a response as to why he can’t keep me up-to-date on what is going on . I’m very frustrated of the fact that he is guessing at this point as to what is wrong with the heat pump. The heat pump has not ran right since he put it in so he needs to fix the problem.
