After our ****** Dishwasher, Model Number ***********, Serial Number *********, Type *****, that home bought from ****** in ******* ****, broke, we contacted ****** via phone call, to have our dishwasher serviced. ****** later referred us to Phillips Electric *** ***** ********** ******, ******* ** ***** (Phone Number: ************), to make repairs on our dishwasher, as Phillips Electric is authorized to make ****** repairs. We contacted Phillips Electric via phone, and scheduled a service appointment with Phillips Electric for 12/22/2021. After we Phillips Electric said they would come back and fix the dishwasher, after they ordered the new piece. On 12/22/2021, after 12:30pm, a male came out to our home, at *** ** ****** ***, ******* **** *****, to look at our dishwasher and make the necessary repairs to get it to run. After the male, from Phillips Electric looked at our dishwasher, he stated that he needed to order a part from ****** to make the necessary repairs. Since the 12/22/2021 visit. I have contacted Phillips Electric twice via phone call to check on the status of the repair, and Phillips electric has stated that they would give me a call back to give me an update on the status of repair and the status of the ordered part. Phillips Electric has failed to call back twice, and has been unresponsive. We have now gone 4 months and a week without a usable dishwasher. The absence of a working dishwasher has caused our water bill to increase, and as increased the hours spent laboring to clean dishes. I have run out of options to have my ****** dishwasher fixed, which is why the only next step is to file a complaint.

(BBB transcription of phone call from business)

Co-Owner called and advised that the part in question is ready for pickup.  Due to manufacturing problems and delays across the U.S., it took longer.  Company thinks this is a nonsense complaint.

Phillips Electric came out to service my Maytag Dishwasher, Model Number ***********, Serial Number *********, Type *****, that I bought from Lowe’s in Tiffin, Ohio, in April 2022, and the repair was not made correctly. After Phillips Electric made the repair, the verbally told me through the phone to never do business with them again. It is now December 29th, 2022, and I am still without a working dishwasher. Maytag promised that their hired out service contractors, Phillips Electric, would honor my warranty and make the necessary repairs to make my dishwasher work again. I scheduled service again mid December, 2022 to fix the same problem. Phillips Electric was supposed to come out between 8am and 4pm on 12/26/2022, but they failed to show up or call. This business’s behavior is unacceptable, and has failed to make repairs that are covered under my Maytag warranty.

We were closed on December 26th. If Whirlpool would have sent me the job I would have declined and Whirlpool would then find another person to fix the dishwasher. We were never notified.
