My brother shipped a phone for me internationaly, to ******. first of all the counter agent never explained that items over $1,000 are subject to imoport fees and held at customs. I was asked for a sales receipt, which I turned in. supposedly, When they went to verify the phone info, the cell phone was missing from the box. I have submitted a claim and have been in contact with fedex at both countries and the keep sending me to each other. One saying that they have submitted all information and now its up to *** and *** saying ****** did not submit any information. I paid Insurance for the package and need my refund immediately as I have been without a phone for over a month. I also have to pay a fee to my insurance to replace and still paying for bill without using my phone. Fedex should not be allowed to offer international shipping if they can't have control ove the packages.Business response
