Last summer, ape forge approached me at the Rossford farmers market and asked if they could meet with me about building my website for my business. I met with them in their office shortly after. A week after hearing about their proposal, I agreed to have them build my website but also update the website if any changes happened down the road. They charged me $1200. I finally received something in January. The website appeared to be thrown together, and I told them that I did not like it. In February I gave them links to other websites that I liked that I would like to incorporate into mine. In the beginning of May I sent an email asking for an update. I have since sent two emails asking for the contract and asking why they have not responded. I am now filing a complaint because it has been almost a year and they have not produced anything that they have promised.Business response

At Ape Forge, transparency and good communication are of the utmost importance to us. Unfortunately, in this case, we failed to uphold this standard. ***** is a great business owner, and communicated clearly with our creative team. However, due to some of the growing pains our business has been experiencing, her project slipped through the cracks. To rectify the situation, we are offering ***** a full refund and any extra assistance she may need to make up for the delay. Although this isn't a common occurrence, we take all complaints very seriously. We are doing our best to put new measures in place to prevent reoccurrences and have provided ***** with various options to resolve the problem, refund the amount she requested, and get her back on the road to success.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I do not want to use any of the services going forward. I appreciate the offer but decline. I do accept the refund as described in the communication.
