I went online to look for a car and someone from city wide called me. I told them I wasn’t sure if I should come in to the office because my credit isn’t good and I only have 400 dollars. The agent told me he’s been able to help with little to nothing down and no credit. So me trusting him, I came in based on a lie. After all paperwork was in he went into the office and got his Manager approval and I gave him the 415 dollars the bank wanted and the 280 dollars for in insurance. I got the keys and left. That night someone from the office called and said the bank wanted my employer to call and let them know it wasn’t a seasonal job. I got that done and then someone callled the next morning to tell me the bank didn’t except me and was pulling funding. They also said someone will be at my house to get the car. I asked if I could hold onto the car till they give me my refund but they refused. It’s now been three week and I haven’t received my refund. City wide keeps telling me tomorrow they will do the inspection. I want my money and get paid for the late wait. They would do that to me so I feel they should have to pay extra for the longer than told wait.Business response

City Wide Auto Credit repossessed my 2009 Chevy Malibu. I didn’t receive a letter stating that I was in jeopardy of losing my car or a phone call. I’ve called the business to get my belongings that is in the vehicle but everyone I I have spoken with is telling me that they don’t know where the car was taken to. It’s very frustrating and annoying to have to keep going back and forth with people that obviously don’t care about my belongings being returned to me. I also was charged way too much for the down payment and the cost of the vehicle I paid 3000 down which Citywide should have let me buy the vehicle at that price.Business response

I purchased a used 2016 GMC Acadia Denali from Citywide Auto in Toledo Ohio and i have only had the car for one week and my car stop starting on 25 August 2023 less than a week of ownership. I have called the dealership 2 days in a row to get this resolved and spoken to the manager and I am still unsuccessful because the communication is broken on their end and i feel as if I am a victim of false and deceptive business practices.Business response
