On May 30, 2023 I purchased replacement roll-up awning spring parts. I was told the repair person couldn't get to repair the awning until July. I agreed. ON July 28, 2023 (after a few phone calls) the repair person showed up at my home and did the repair. I was charge $274.76 to do the repair (I already paid $297.36 for the parts on May 30th). On July 29th the repair didn't work. It was a one time use repair. I called the shop, spoke to the owner, *****, and was told I was on the list. It is now October 6th, and after many phone calls, I am still "on the list." I paid for this repair, it is not a new repair - it is a do over. I feel that $274.76 was a lot of money in the first place to pay only for a team of workers to show up for a few minutes (in which most of the time was spent looking for the bolt he dropped on the ground twice . I finally I had to go into the house and look for another bolt and nut because the original was lost on the ground. The repair person didn't even have one on his truck! I did find a replacement bolt and nut. I question on the price of a repair, even an appliance repair doesn't cost this much. Why did it cost so much? I feel since the check was cashed in July, I should have priority in a re-do repair, instead of new "tornado" repairs. My repair started before the tornado! In my opinion, I feel I should be monetarily compensated and this repair should be completed now!Business response

Technician, went to ***** *******'s home October 26th to address awning not rolling up properly, technician demonstrated to customer that awning was rolling up and down with no issues customer asked technician to put more tension on springs which he did. He also explained to customer that the springs were maxed out when he left customer was satisfied with the work that was done. Toledo Window & Awning will not perform any more service for ***** ******* we consider her a disgruntled customer and she will be notified. Please understand awning was working fine when technician left the first time, also customer was not charged for second visit.
