Ezfare is an electronic ticketing system for many public transportation systems including Cincinnati Metro. I opened the account and put a balance on it in anticipation of frequent $6 round trips to Kenton county KY courthouse just across the river. I banked a balance in expectation of frequent trips, but the case is now in Boone county, not reachable by bus. I didn't hesitate to add extra because the faq says unused balance on accounts no longer needed may be refunded to debit/credit cards but no cash refunds will be given. They are leaning on the word "may" to deny my refund saying "it doesn't say refunds are guaranteed, it says MAY be granted. I assert that the statement indicates cash will not be refunded but debit/credit will. Failure to do so constitutes fraud. Repeated phone and email contacts have yielded no results. One email was a BCC of an email to their supervisor saying: Greetings ********** Another rider trying to get a refund by quoting our FAQ page on our app. The rider has $38.00 of stored value on their account. Please let me know if you think we should reimburse? All the Best, ******** ****** This tells me they know they are misleading people and doing nothing about it.Business response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.In the event there is a problem with the refund I will open a new complaint, and consider this resolved.
