After the new roof was installed, I notified Stellar Home Services that there was a leak in the ceiling. I provided pictures and everything showing the damages. My only request from Stellar Home Services was to replace the damaged part of the ceiling, and all would be well. Well... after 12 months of attempting to contact them, they have been unresponsive, and is not responding to my phone calls or text. I will say... everything started out and finished good... but it was the after affect that they are not addressing. Because of that... I would NOT recommend this company.Initial Complaint

Claim filed March 25 2023. May 2023 i started to receive payments. Roof did not get finish till June 25. Company put all the shingles for my main roof on my addition and broke my runner and support beams. June 27 I received water in my basement coming from my walls from my additions roof. My flashing is not attached to my house. I had to pay a window company to re-cap my window, his roofers throwing stuff off the roof bent it, he promised to fix and never did. He put a new roof over my old roof of my garage. The boards on my garage do not line up, his roofers did not trim the board. I had a different company do my gutters and they said legally they had to point out the mistakes, they noticed above my kitchen on my addition that I am going to get water damage from the shingles. My singles also are 2inches hanging off the edge when code says it's supposed to be 1 1/2 imches This company Stellar homes was paid for part of my gutter, took it down never put it back up. got water damage in my walls. no, i didnt not reach back out to this company after everything was addressed and not fixed, after the work he did i no longer wanted to use them.Initial Complaint

This company was contracted last year for roof, windows and siding. The roof work was not completed - the flashing was not done . Windows were never done - he took **** in cash and I had to fight to get that back. ****** he said a month before it had to be done for insurance company to pay or I can never make another siding claim again. I gave him **** for deposit and had Attorney send a demand letter and he said he will not respond to it but rather his attorney will and not to contact him further . I have contract and all documents regarding all of this. This is theft by deception and also he has $**** of cash toward the siding.Business response

Good morning. *************** and I had been in communication in regards to her siding. I explained to her that my siding crew for some reason or another wasn't getting back to me on a start date. I do agree that it's taken much longer than expected. I was not aware that anything was wrong with her roof until I received a letter from her attorney. Nothing was ever mentioned about it prior. I do know that once we were going to do the siding, she needed a few pieces of hip and ridge cap put up on top of the roof. We communicated about a refund for siding. I tried to meet up with her and she was not going to be available due to work. I responded a couple of days later asking her when she could meet up with me for her siding refund and she never responded. Then I received a letter from her attorney and so I had my attorney contact hers but there was no response. There was no breach of contract and there was no theft by deception. I am trying to give her a refund. However, once an attorney's involved, I let them handle everything. I have all of this in text messages. Please let me know if there's anything else further needed. We are still waiting for her attorney to respondCustomer response

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of my decision appear below.
I have provided additional information for review. I have filed a complaint with the attorney general and i have retained an attorney. There is theft here, deception, and breach of contract. I have it all well documented.
