I am personally over age 81 and need this resolved now. The owner of the business, ***** ********, insisted on prepayment in full, or 90 percent of the amount due. Then after a time frame of 6 weeks or so, informs us the item that was on order arrived damaged and needed to be returned! Then after another 6 weeks or longer informs us he needs to order the items from a different company. However what occurs next is we are told because the item was a special order a refund could not be made! Our contractor now tells us he would have his company attorney look into the problem and send them a letter demanding a refund due to the time involved, (ordered Nov. 3rd of 2023 it is now April of 2024).
From this point on our contractor keeps giving us dates when he will return our payment as he has now admitted to us that he never ordered the materials in the first place!! This admission of theft by him occurred once we started asking for the letters his attorney had sent out, and copies of the orders for the material we paid him $7200.00 for. We have since found out he has done this same type of Scam to other people.

I hired this company and delt directly with the owner, Scott F*******, since January 2023. The scope of the job was a garage addition/conversion, as well as multiple other home improvements in the existing house (interior and exterior). The whole project was roughly $70,000. Starting in March, the work became shotty, he and his employees would only work a few hours a week and it just became a horrible relationship. I'm unhappy with a large number of items, many of which I have decided to fix myself, mainly due to Scott's inability to show up and complete the work in a timely manner or even at all. I still have multiple things that need fixed, but the main issue I am having is getting Scott to finish the job (of which I've already paid him nearly the entire project amount). We were supposed to have our custom sized shower door installed in early May. That turned into, late May. Then it turned into mid-June. Then excuses (like usual) started piling up about the shower glass being broken. Shortly after July 4th, Scott has completely ignored me and refused to address the issue. I've even asked for the contact for the shower glass so that I could address it myself, and bypass Scott. However, for the past 4 weeks, Scott has completely ignored me. He refuses to call me, or even acknowledge my questions. The final straw was last week (07/27) when Scott finally text me and said he would call the next day and address everything. Like usual, he never called, and I still have not heard from him. Our project was supposed to take roughly 3 months. We're double that currently. This is all due to Scott's inability to manage a company and his customers.
