My vehicle was repossessed. I called to find out the reason, I was told I was 8 payments behind. The next day I called and sent proof that my payment wasn't do for another week and that I was up to date on all my payments. The owner then said he didn't care that he could no longer do business with me and has refused to give my car back. I read his reviews and seen that he has made a history of repossession vehicle's that are not behind in payment. The Vehicle also had mechanical problems happening shortly after leaving the car lot, the drive tran which is covered under the warranty was having problems along with other things that he would not fix. I took my car their to get fixed, when I picked it up over half the gas was used and the car was never fixed.Business response

This 2010 Jeep was repoed for non payment. ******* is lean holder. 10 week behind. ******* ****** called and said she was behind but didn’t realize she was that far behind. I have tapes of this conversation. She called several times and wanted to argue. I told her to bring in her receipts. She said her bank statement would prove it. She has never done so. Her husband called and cussed me out. She called 8 times in a row, and cussed at me. I had to go to the Sheriff office to stop the phone harassment. She was told by the Sheriff to stop or she would be charged. She has never proved or produced the payments. Because they were not payed. And as for her statement on the repairs that’s not true weather. I sold this car AS IS. Any repairs on this car would be done by the extended warranty co. Certified letter was sent according to Ohio law.

I am rejecting this response because: He is not telling the truth. I did send him the receipt. I have a copy of the message. I did call him several times because he was refusing to give me my items back from the car. He is reporting to you that I am 10 payments behind however on the certified letter he states that I am 8 payments behind. I was ahead on my payments when my car was taken. He is a scam. After he did this I read reviews that he has done the same thing to other people recently. I will submit a copy of the message and receipt

Business mailed attached handwritten letter to BBB. We have transcribed the response below:

All this bickering is not necessary. The paper ******* ****** sent me is a a typed up paper. It is not copies of the receipts or proof of payments. I ask her to provide the receipts and she has not. So I *******'s Motor Sales will do what the Ohio Law tless me to do according to the lasw. She also said in the statement that I refused to give her the personal property. This also is not true. The sherrif called her to tell her to come get her property, not me, I haven't talked to her. Because she was cursing at me and harassinng me repeatedly. So the sherrif stepped in, and had a talk with her and she was told to stop or charges would be filed. Read the contract it said $100.00 per week every week count the weeks. Produce the receipts!!!
