Vehicle was towed by partnering tow company that is out of town and after 73% of debt was paid. The manager delayed return of vehicle after I stated that I needed to return to work. The manager then stated that the owner of the establishment does not talk to customers. Very unprofessional someone needs to take a look at their customer reviews.Business response

Vehicle was repossessed after customer failed to make payments. Currently, she owes going back to 9/25/2023, which is 108 days past due. In addition, she also failed to carry continuous insurance on the vehicle, as is required on her contract until the vehicle loan is paid in full. After multiple broken promises to bring the account current, the decision was made to repossess the vehicle. She has 10 days to redeem the vehicle.Initial Complaint

Ms. ***** asked us to sell the 2011 ***** Accord for her two years ago. As a favor, we took the vehicle and sold it on 5/19/2021. The sale was completed, and all documents were processed accordingly. Attached is a copy of the bill of sale, completed title with the assignment to the new registered owner, copy of the **************** registration printout showing the new owner transferred the title and Experian Auto Check report listing the number of owners and most recent title number assigned. We kindly request this complaint be dismissed as there was no wrongdoing on our part. Thank you for your assistance.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:car lot has still not provided me or the CA *** with sale documents to a 2011 ***** I traded in to them and they sold. I spoke with ******************* as recently as 8/1823 he said it was done, it is not the *** will not remove the lien on my taxes or refund the fees they have already garnished I used the text function to contact the lot with no response. This was no favor I traded in 2 cars and purchased 1 through the lot I need the sale documents to be submitted to the CA *** please

This is Ms. ******* 3rd attempt at this complaint. All documentation was provided in the 1st complaint and the complaint was closed. The same documentation is again attached. The 2nd complaint was deemed a duplicate by BBB. This vehicle was sold in May 2021 as a favor to Ms. ***** and all sales documents were completed and processed accordingly. Ms. ***** did purchase a ******************* January 2021. That purchase was a cash sale with NO trade ins. Documentation is attached for that sale showing no trade. No texts have been received from Ms. ***** thru the lot texting function. ALL texts, incoming and outgoing, are thru our operating system and cannot be deleted by the customer OR the dealership. They are a permanent record attached to the customer's account. We trust this will be the last time we will have to supply the same documents. Thank you for your assistance in closing this matter.Customer response

****************the CA DMV was not notified of the sale. I absolutely traded in both vehicles for the Ford
please Legends send the required documents to the CA DMV so that my liability may be released and I may be refunded the registration fees I was charged

The dealer never disclose issues that needs to be repaired on the car. The steering wheel adjuster to adjust. The steering wheel is completely broken. They never disclose that. The heat control does not work. The dealer attempted to show me on FaceTime that it works but he did not disclose that no heat or air was blowing out. The dealer did not disclose that the sunroof does not properly open and close. He said that it opens up just fine. What is this? It does not, and he did not disclose that.Business response

Issue has been resolved with customer. ********************************* closed complaint in favor of Legends Auto Sales. No actions were taken against dealership, and nothing was required. However, we have helped the customer out as is our practice of good customer service. Customer changed her ****** review which is attached.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:I spoke with the dealer, and they said told me that they would pay for the repairs in the amount of $482.86! Resolved with dealership
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

In April of 2021 * I purchase a 2013 ****** Juke from Legend Auto . I searched for this model for 2 months. I went to car max * car guru and found just 4 in ******** at this time. One in ***** * one in Shawnee* 2 in ***. The one at Legend was in my budget. I check the reviews * made sure they weren't list with BBB .They had a 4.5 rating. I went to see the car and test drive it. The asking price was ******* ***** mileage two owners. It ran good I suppose. I'm 63 and have always drove a pickup so not sure how it's supposed to sound but it had some power. The interior is black leather and factory tinted windows. I had to redye and retint .I saved ***** dollars* my friend offered to help me with the balance of ****. To be paid to *************************** in increments of ****** until paid. Through my dealings with the salesman and of course I asked if he could come down a bit. He appeared irritated and informed me he has a 14 year old daughter on the West Coast and her bedroom opens to the beach * he needed every dime. He walked out of the office and had another sales person finish the paperwork. So I asked him if the vehicle would be dependable and told him I'd be driving to ****** ** to visit my sister . His response was yes it's a very good car. So I purchased it. I took it to ********* for a oil change and 2 tires. I had to redye the leather seats that started showing stains from a dog. 3 months later and my hard work *my car looks good. I don't do a lot of driving but I took it down ***** * and a couple other short drives.I probably put less than 300 miles from Apri to November . I went to fill up 11/14/2021 as I pulled out of the station my car starts shuddering *I drive home and call a machinic was on my way * my car locked up. Blown engine * I paid **** engine* **** mechanic.There was no reason to contact legends * he told me 20 timed it's as is sell I will never be convinced he didn't know about problems 4 months 400miles and paid ****** for a 2013 . I did have more information .I couldn't get it all in **** words.After the 3rd wash , I noticed alot of scathes on the passenger window and a white glue like film on the outside window. I thought most of it was inside. There was a dog that obviously spent alot time in the car. I could feel scratches on the outside and alot of dings like someone peeled out in gravel and showered that side.Last week I had new tint on the window. I thought that would take care of it.I've been polishing graffiti scratched in the widow with a knife. The reason I know a knife is the stab marks , and slits . I have buffed alot of it out, but I probably will have to replace it. **** the seats are black leather and on the back seat it looked like someone spilled something that ran down the backseat. There was alot of brownish waste in the water. I dyed the seats but there is a large stain on the passenger side. I think someone got hurt. When I tried to set up my voicemail. A man was screaming profanities I presume to the owner of the car.Don't they have to disclose information if someone was hurt or killed.I'm sorry this is so long.
