I was referred to contact HH Mechanical for an air condition system for my rental property next door. HH referred me to buy the equipment from ********* ********** of ***. He made the actual order for the equipment and I called in and paid ********* ********** $3,969.34 for the equipment on 9-7-2021. He said I would owe him, ****, with HH Mechanical, $2000.00 for the installation of the equipment. So I paid him $2000.00 on 9-11-2021. Fall was fast approaching, not much time to use the ** until this summer. We determined that the ** was not functioning properly and thinking back even the heating was somewhat off. We asked him to come and check the ** in the spring. After several requests, he finally came by and looked at the compressor and the thermostat. He said there was too much gas in the compressor unit and supposedly made some adjustments. This did not solve the problem, the house was still not cooling properly. He said he was going to *********** and would be back in a few days and wanted my tenants to notify him if the issue was not solved. She notified him by text as requested. I notified him a number of times and we both sent him photos of the problem, discovered by another ** co. I pd. $256.50. Said just getting back into the state from a trip. We ask for "his assistant" to come and check the eqptmt, but no one came. We both continued to call and text him and sent photos over and over again with no response for many weeks. He later told us he and his brother had been in a bad automobile accident and that he was in the hospital with a foot injury and that his brother had passed away. We offered our condolences and waited about two or more weeks for recovery and to grieve his brother. Again we ask him to send someone to fix the problem, but no one came. About 10 days ago I called and he answered the phone, was in Tx I asked him to come he said he would be here Tuesday, 8-16-22. Did not show. He will not respond, PLS HELP. fInitial Complaint

Both of the rooftop AC units on our store needed to be replaced. Double HH Mechanical’s pricing and availability were very competitive with all of the other quotes, and we decided to give him our business. The arrangement was for us to purchase the two units that needed to be installed and that he would install them for $2500 each unit ($5k total). The first unit was installed at the end of June 2022. It works with no problems (so far). I paid Mike with a check for the install on that one and received a receipt via email that evening. The second unit was installed about a week later with the install being paid in cash. I never received a receipt for the second install even after emailing him to request one. The volume of air coming out of the vents is very low. Even at the vent closest to the unit it is barely blowing. I shot Mike a text message asking him to come take a look at it to make sure everything was hooked up correctly and didn't get a response (it's been 2 weeks). I tried calling him and got sent to voicemail with no response back. I have emailed him with no response, and today I tried calling him from the stores phone rather than my cell and left a voicemail. He called back, but as soon as we answered the phone with the standard greeting of the business name he hung up. This gives the impression that he is dodging calls. I know it was him calling because we have caller ID. I have resorted to scheduling another AC tech come out and look at our unit tomorrow to fix/finish the work that Double HH Mechanical has failed to finish. This will be adding extra expense to a job that has already been paid for and failed to correctly finish. I only hope other potential customers see these reviews/complaints BEFORE hiring Double HH Mechanical to do half of the work they are paid for and disappearing with thier money.
