I purchased **** sf of aqua lok luxury vinyl from their Budget Floor store. *************************** was our sales associate. Nothing was disclosed prior to purchase regarding a no-return policy. Had I been pre-informed, I would not have ordered overage. After our installation was complete, we had 500 sf left over, so I called to return 400 square feet, retaining only 100 square feet for possible future needs. ****************** said that due to covid, they weren't taking back flooring. I asked his to ask his leadership for clarification, which he promised to do, but I never received a call back. Twice more, I've contacted the store asking for the return policy, and both times was assured that they would check with supervisor ******, however I've received no return calls. I get that I may need to pay a restocking fee (normally 10%) to ship it back to the manufacturer if they do not wish to resell the 400 square feet as floor stock.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:He never got back with me. His salesman, ********************* finally agreed to take it back. I returned it on 3/23; they applied the credit of $1467.62 to my credit card as a pending transaction on 3/24, but the transaction never posted and is no longer pending. Our bank, USAA indicated the merchant didnt complete the process. Merchant is
saying its out of their hands. Consumer is left without product or refund.

The store processed a refund, as stated, on 3/24, and since it only briefly appeared as pending, I assumed it would not go through. This was an erroneous assumption. It posted to our account on 3/29/2022. I wish to thank the Budget Floor Store team for doing the right thing. I apologize for my impatience and wish deepest condolences to the Akin family.

I believe the transaction has since posted. I believe the customer is satisfied with the outcome. I dont know why the banks take so long to process some times. Im sorry if this all left a bad taste in your mouth ****. If there is anything g I can do further please reach me at ************ cell.
