Hired Dan Williams, Owner of United Construction Group, LLC to remodel master bathroom · November 10, 2021 Mr. Williams installed 4 safety rails in shower. I paid him $1200 by check that evening. · No contact again until January 24, 2022 when Mr. Williams informed me he created an invoice for the job. He told me he had ordered the shower door and would begin work on the bathroom on January 25, 2022. · Contractor that was hired by Mr. Williams built requested shelves incorrectly and they look awful · Issue with paint was brought to Mr. Williams' attention but instead of replacing the paint he had a painting company use it anyway. The paint is chipping, and has several bubbles and lumps. It looks awful. Paint also got on the trim and security system panel · After weeks of being told the tile would be picked up for shower, I ended up buying the tile myself from Lowes. The tile was never used and remained in the garage. · Electrician was brought in to finish installing the new lights. None of my switches are wired right now. They don’t flip the correct lights and some of them don’t even work. My phone line was also cut during this process causing a phone technician to come out to repair it. · Mr. Williams said he would return the tile for me since it was too much for myself and husband (75 years old and 89 years old) to handle. I could not find my receipt anywhere and Dan said he could return my tile without a receipt if he had my Lowes card. I allowed him to take my Lowes card for one reason and one reason only. To return the tile I purchased that we never used. I called Mr. Williams for weeks after he took my card, he would never answer. I had my son come over and load the tile and return it to Lowes. While returning the tile to Lowes I made a payment on my Lowes credit card and found out there was almost $800 in charges that I DID NOT purchase or authorize Dan Williams to purchase with my card. · The invoice provided by Dan Williams states the cost of the job includes materials. · Mr. Williams would have workers come to the house to ask for payment even though the invoice says the rest would not be due until completion. Mr. Williams received $14500 and was paid in full for the job. · Tried calling Dan Williams and the business for six weeks to at least try and get this resolved and find out when the bathroom shower door would arrive and be installed. Dan would never answer the phone. I was told countless excuses by the business treasurer Nicole C that Dan would be at my house that week, Dan was sick from chemo, Dan had to go to court, Dan was in a meeting. · As of today, I have spent $15000 on a bathroom remodel that I am extremely unhappy with and remains unfinished. I want a refund from Mr. Williams so I can pay a different company to fix all the issues Mr. Williams' company has left me with.
