Culligan Soft water System and **I was purchased in November, 2022. Installed in December, 2022.It has never worked right. Numerous repair men have been out many times and several times salesman and Manager has been out to appease us. NOTHING gets done. We have had soft water MAYBE total of 6 weeks, MAYBE. We have soft water then not soft. System uses great amount of salt. Last weekend it went through almost **** gallons a day for two days.We were sold this system on it getting our TDS to less than 20. Its now at 845 and the ** is at 250. It has cut our water pressure in our home to almost 25PSI from 65% at well. We have put up with this inadequate service for almost a year. To make things worse, we used the division of Culligan (Aqua Finance) to purchase. They sent a cheque for **** to Culligan and they tried to steal from us an additional ****. They are still trying to get us for 250 related to it and there is no way this is owed. We have contacted Culligan about 2-4 times a month regarding all including billing and problems and it goes NOwhere. We are fed up and want this fixed now, please.Business response

We have worked with *************** for months tying to appease all of his complaints. We have made numerous attempts to satisfy him to no avail. I have personally as the ** been to his house multiple times. I have even spoken to his son who lives behind him. He is taking a TDS meter to test for soft water and they are 2 TOTALLY different tests. He is confused on his numbers. We NEVER tell customers we can get a specific TDS number result as numbers constantly change. We always tell our customers we can greatly reduce your TDS - his TDS is up over ***** when we started and we have gotten him to less than 300 which is off the charts great for where his starting point is at. There was a confusion on the finance side but I have the proof to show on his account where we credited back the almost $270 that he did not owe. Since then we have credited back multiple charges for parts, salt, and I even added a 3 year of service warranty (personally), OVER a $700 value. Something it does not look like he shared with you. We test his softness each time we have been and if it wasn't softening we adjust settings - added media - changed filters (even when they didn't need it to make him happy) - and a lot of times the unit was soft - so there was nothing to adjust. The system does use a lot of salt - that's because ******************** water hardness is over the top high/ Anything over 7 is considered extremely hard. Typical Stillwater water is ***** grains hard - his well was between ***** grains hard! it will go through a lot of salt and another reason the unit is working because it is using salt. If the water pressure is low it is because his water is so bad it is clogged up the filter and it needs to be changed. These are all things we have shared with him and he doesn't want. No answer to the using **** gallons in a weekend - that would be a usage issue from the consumer side. We have made massive attempts to make him happy and there is no reasoning with him. His son did understand and said he would get it taken care of with his dad. Their house uses the same well and same water treatment and he says he has no complaints.Customer response

I, myself would not recommend this service, my account #XXXXXX, I thought I had the service canceled in September and at which time they came and got their water softener and I thought nothing more . But then I was billed again for the service in October. Jaylee stated I would be refunded in 4 weeks and that never happened. I was told by another rep that once corporate has this information it was out of their hands, but when I asked for the corporate phone number she said I would need to call back and ask for the local office manager. I'm just wondering how much they will charge me for no service this month.Initial Complaint

Quality Water has added false charges to my account and is asking for money after they admitted to that I was due a refund for bottle returns. The refunds have never been paid to me. After the account was closed they chose to add charges to my Account without my permission or knowledge. They are now threatening collection services for money I do not owe. All I need is my refund from the returned items as promised by them in Aug of 2021.Business response
