Here's a little story.
I didn't make my car payment due to some personal stuff I had to pay. okay I get it when you don't make a payment they have every right to repossess the vehicle.
That's fine. take it.
They take the car, not only 45 mins before I had to leave for work but while I was in the shower. ****.
Okay so I put in PTO a because if you didn't know I work in ARKANSAS and I got my car and live in OKLAHOMA so I can't just catch a ride most times.
Not to mention I manage 3 different locations and could possibly have to be at any one of these stores at any time.
But I didn't make my payment so they had every right remember.
SO- I call car mart and explain I would make the payment wednesday.
All my belongings were in the vehicle including my ID and debit cards that I needed so my coworker ***** ***** who kindly brought me there to get them and headed to work and told them I would get paid around 11 and that I would pay it and be back later for it.
I paid $750 around 1:00 pm. left Arkansas early to get my car.
Once I was dropped off there to retrieve my car they wanted the $95 for the towing fee. Well I asked if I could pay .$45 and the rest on the next payment, they said that would be fine.
I started to drive off and it sounded like someone banging on the bottom of my car. I made it not even a mile down the road before I just couldn't drive it anymore due to the loud banging noises.
I called the car lot and they then told me to call a 24 hr towing service to come get the car.
I called the number they gave me, started a request and halfway through the dispatch hung up on me.
It was 8-9:00 by this point so I had my boyfriend come get me and went home for the night, leaving my $750 + $45 just sitting in the Walmart parking lot.
So the next morning I call them and have them go get my car, and take it to the mechanic across the street from car mart.
I call them and the lady informs me it just needed oil for 30 dollars
