I had two procedures for cataract removal. The first one was on my left eye on 03/21/2022 $1,852.00 the second one on my right eye was on 03/30/2022 $1,462.00. I paid my part for each procedure on the dates of service and the remaining balance was put on a Care Credit card through Triad Eye Institute. This was a deal they had with Care Credit that was a 2 year no interest plan. A couple months after I was done with my second and final procedure I received a bill for an additional $2,090.00. When my contract with Triad was signed by me and Melissa Turick (spelling ?) she had verified my insurance with $500.00 deductible $2,000.00 out of pocket/ 10% co insurance. This is the Tier one level of benefits for my UMR insurance. However they billed the insurance at a higher Tier which made me incur a higher bill. I have called them numerous times regarding this error on their part for this billing error. The last call I made on 12/27/2022 was a three way call between myself Rhonda from UMR and Rhonda from the business office at Triad. She even stated on the recorded line that she saw where the contract I signed was at the Tier 1 pricing and billed at the higher Tier pricing. I feel this was fraudulent on their part. I wasn't told about this additional bill until after the procedure. I would have made another arrangement for payment or gone somewhere else. I DO NOT have the money to pay monthly for their mistake. I am already paying Care Credit $150.00 a month and I financially cannot pay any more. Please help me with this matter.Business response

I had my cornea eye surgery at the Triad Institute. After the surgery i have 3 appointments. the first two appointment i had to wait for at least 1 hour after my appointment to see someone either a nurse or a doctor. I tried to complaint and had to wait at least another 15 mins to see someone. In my last appointment / recent visit to remove the stitches from my eyes, i came to the office late to my appointment by 30 mins as i live in Bartlesville which is about 60 mins form the clinic. I came and all of a sudden she mentioned without showing any policy or note that that appointment is cancelled and have to reschedule. I was very angry and i asked for a supervisor or speaking with the doctor however they didn't care even i told them i had to travel all the way in the bad weather just to attend the appointment. I called after i left to schedule another appointment and today i received a letter that they terminated my file and telling me to find another clinic. Not talking about the business but talking about an oath taking by a doctor, how this can happen and terminate my appointments even without taking the stiches out of my eyes after the surgery. When i made the appointment, i requested to check for the doctor appointment at another clinic however they just sent me a letter saying they terminating my account. This is very unreliable clinic and by reading all reviews so far, i see this is something ongoing and not only happened to me to other patients in the last 5 years. Now this is consider a medical threatening to my eyes specially after having a cornea transplant.Business response
