            Sold a subpar product of "garden soil" that was clay mixed with a ton of mushroom spores. Everything planted in this garbage is dying ( other beds with different soil not from this company are doing amazing) Mushrooms have now clogged every surface this trash has touched. Other people have complained of this same problem and they have not changed their bad business practices of selling low grade products.

            I bought 10 CY of garden mix advertised as "GEM Dirt's legendary Garden Mix product is a blend of sandy loam dirt, leaf compost and mushroom compost. It's ideal for vegetable gardens and raised beds. No additives are necessary."

            I have mostly clay. It appears that I am not the only one who has experienced this.

            GEM Dirt's Garden Mix is our most popular product. We have many satisfied customers that return year after year to purchase the product for their gardening needs. We use a trommel screener to blend and screen the soils.

            We do sell clay for specific applications requiring high compaction, but it is not used in our planting and gardening mixes. Clay can not be ran through a trommel screener.

            The Garden Mix is indeed a blend of sandy loam soil, leaf compost and mushroom compost. It is an ideal soil for planting vegetables.
