I went to Miracle Ear in July. I paid the whole amount upfront because they require you to do that. I received my hearing aids and they are acceptable. Miracle Ear got a reimbursement from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of 2500.00 around August 19. This refund is to come to me. They agree it comes me. The problem it that they say they deposited the check and have to wait for it to clear, then they say they issued a check, then they aren’t sure where it is. Then say it is in the mail. For 2.5 months they have given me the complete run around about this money. They say I should call if I don’t get the check. I call each week. I still have no check after 2.5 months. I want my check today. This shouldn’t be this hard. It seems they have poor accounting practices and safeguards.Business response

Upon receiving your notice, we immediately looked into your file and found that when you purchased your hearing aids, a $2,500 loan was set up with HealthiPlan to assist with the payment. On October 2, 2024, our office received a reimbursement of $2,500 from Blue Cross and Blue Shield. This amount was applied to pay off your HealthiPlan loan balance on October 10, 2024. As a result, no additional check will be issued, as the reimbursement covered your loan directly.\
