This is a baseball organization my son played for. He is now off the team. They are a new organization and have spent a total so far of $4892.96 of unnecessary items needed to run a little league baseball organization. I was provided with a detailed list of what was purchased. Parents paid out of pocket for the league fees and for uniforms. The parents are required to fundraise to pay for all the items that were purchased including a $10,000 end of season awards banquet. They do not have a board of members to approve purchases and the owners claim that they had every purchase approved by parents but I and my sons father, who helped coach knew nothing about any of the purchases. They also required the volunteer coaches to write a $500 check to be held until the end of season and if all items for that team are not returned they will cash said check to pay for items that did not total $500. I do not request a resolution as we left the team but I am requesting this be looked into for possible embezzlement.
