We purchased a Maytag dishwasher from this store in June 2020. It broke down in April 2021 while still under warranty. We called the store. They sent a repairman out and he said we needed a new pump. The pump was ordered, took a few weeks to come in. The repairman came and put in the pump but it did not work and he said he would order a new one. We never heard anything else. We called the store after not hearing anything at all for weeks. They informed us that the repairman had quit suddenly, and left paperwork saying he had completed the job (not true). The part was reordered (my understanding). In September and October 2020 we were variously told that the part was in or was not in. We were also told the new repairman had family issues and was having to travel out of town frequently. At the end of October ****** called us and told us the part was in and we were waiting on the repairman to schedule. 12/11/21 I called and spoke with ***** and said paperwork was with repairman but they did not know where it was on the list. He said he would leave a note for the owner to call us the following Monday. (we have heard this multiple times and it never happens). I have since called 12/17/21, 12/18/21 and today 1/6/21 and left messages and no one responds. I understand that there are currently supply issues and staffing issues. However, the service by this store is deplorable, particularly the lack of communication. We have a dishwasher which worked for about 10 months, broke down under warranty, and has yet to be repaired 8+ months later. All we want is a dishwasher that works. At this point it seems unlikely that it will ever be repaired, and if it cannot be repaired in a timely manner, then we should be given a replacement.
