On 04/03/22 I went to the ********** station at *********************** in Springfield, **. which belongs to Ron's Oil Co. in ********, **. I told the attendant *****************************, that I wanted $20.00 in regular gasoline, he then asked "you wanted $30.00 in regular right"? I told him "No, I want $20.00 in regular gasoline". I gave him my debit card and he put it in the machine and returned it to me. While he was pumping the gasoline I went to the restroom. When I returned the receipt was hanging on my door handle and the attendant never told me that he charged my card an extra $82.46 to my acccount. I got into my car and drove away and noticed that my gas gauge read full. I pulled over and looked at the receipt and he had charged $102.46 to my bank account. I returned to the station and told them I am a disabled vet on a static income and could not afford the charge and they told me I had to speak to the corporate office in ********, ******. I called the corporate office in ******** left them voice mails and no response. I finally spoke to the receptionist, and for two weeks she has told me she has to speak to the employee and her supervisor. Since 4/5/22 I have received one excuse after another with no resolution. Today I called again and spoke to ******************************* and she said she didn't know anything about it and took my information again. As I stated earlier, I am a disabled veteran and can not afford an extra $80 out of my budget for this and my electric **** has now gone unpaid to avoid more overdraft fees at my bank. I need help, they need to make this right, this was not my fault and they will not do anything to help me but give me the run around.
