      On January 24, 2024 I contacted Lifetime Chimney and asked for an estimate for an interior issue with my chimney. I had contracted with this company for another, exterior, chimney issue and they completed that work in June 2023. As it relates to this particular chimney issue, I was advised that a metal sleeve could be installed to address the interior dampness on the 2nd floor. I agreed to their terms and on April 17, 2024 $1000.00 was deducted from my checking account. I did not hear back from the company in June and I called them and was told that they would contact me once the materials were received. I again reached out on August 5, 2024 but the neither phone number was able to receive my call. One number was out of service and the other had not set up voice mail.Their is a hyper link on their web page that connects to Lifetime Chimney in ********, ******. I was able to leave a message with the number listed *************. I have not heard back from this company.The company is: Lifetime Chimney - **** ****************************************** ************** ************* *************************** *********************** ************ used Pro.housecallpro.com/mobileestimate/PbPloqxwxt as the format for sending the contract and withdrawing money from my checking account on April 17, 2024 at 10:02 AM.

      Hello.
      I am writing to you as requested regarding my BBB Complaint (case number ********). I filed this complaint  on August 5, 2024. This complaint is in regard to the Lifetime Chimney Company. I retained the services of LifeTime Chimney through the **** location in *******, *****The *******, ** location took my deposit and never contacted me afterwards to update me about the service which I contracted with them to perform. After realizing that this company was permanently closed per the website, I  requested that the Oregon location reimburse me for the $1000.00 (one thousand dollars) that I paid in good faith on April 17, 2024. To date, I have not received reimbursement from this company.

      They closed the *********** and now won't return my Deposit.. After not being able to do the work, I've called them email them. They say that it's coming and it never does. I believe they're trying to rip me off.

      Called owner of the company on 12/15/22 because job was not completed and Item was left in front yard. Owner refused to complete job and became baligerant and threated to come over and get in my face. He kept accusing me of yelling on the phone. Work started on 11/28/22 and never completed.

       Homeowner threatened to assault owner and employee's. Lifetime tried to refund the chimney cap amount of ****** which ****** refused.
