This insurance policy has called me 7 times claiming that I requested a quote for their insurance (I didn't). They have left me a voicemail every time. I have never called back. This is harassment and fraud and I want them to never contact me again. They have called:March 13, 2023 at 11:05am March 15, 2023 at 4:35pm March 23, 2023 at 4:32pm March 27, 2023 at 4:53pm March 31, 2023 at 5:13pm April 21, 2023 at 4:25pm April 25, 2023 at 2:51pm

      Dear ****,

We are happy to remove you from our list. The way the insurance industry works is that if you go online and look up rates, for example, often you are submitting a request through a third party. It does happen that we see that the person who submitted the request did so by mistake, or did so in their spouse's name, etc. I am not sure what the case was here, but on our end we received a quote request from a credited third-party company called InsuranceQuotes. This lead included your contact information and an urgent request for a quote on auto insurance. We ran the requested quote and emailed it, and then we always make seven attempts to get ahold of the customer. If at ANY point the customer asks us to stop contacting them, we absolutely are happy to do so. At no point did you make any attempt to ask to be removed from our prospecting, as noted by you in your complaint. We have many customers who may be out of town or busy but do answer and are happy to receive the quote they requested, which is why we do what we do.

I am sorry that we have upset you, and I wish that you let us know directly that you weren't interested, as it would have been much easier for both you and me rather than doing it this way and we would have stopped calling a lot sooner. Because you never asked us to stop calling, the only information we were going off of was an "urgent request for a quote", and therefore were fullfilling that request. This is not harassment. As for your claim of "fraud", I recommend you ask your family if anyone was ****************** rates, and if not then follow up with InsuranceQuotes regarding how your information turned into a prospect lead on that end.

      I wish you the best,

      Diana Higgins, business owner

      Better Business Bureau:

I appreciate that I will be left alone. I or my spouse did not request a quote through any insurance company, and I do not appreciate the fact that I was accused of doing so.

From my endpoint, having made no request and then having someone leave several voicemails with my name and information is creepy. Seven times is quite excessive for someone who hasn't responded over almost *a 2 month period.* I stand by my original complaint.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      Sincerely,

      *********************
