I had to go down to their shop to initiate communication and once I had done so and started my initial order for a 40 kWh upgrade and a week later a 62 kWh for my other son's Leaf communication was fine but lagged at times. This is a small business doing a ton of work in what they admit (and obviously) strained facilities. Before they start any work they want to insure the money clears their bank. That takes about 3 days. The second project began by their arranging my Pendletons son's Leaf to be transported safely to ******** as its range couldn't handle the lack of a charger in ************* . They made the arrangements. These folks have work coming out of their ears with an overwhelmed facility. They are constantly looking for something larger, but properties that look good are not being lease available. Given the overall situation they end results were great.Review from John T.

This is written April 2nd, 2022. EV RIDES LLC I found out recently is fraud after I spend nearly 2 weeks unable to contact them for a single response, other than 1 time on ****** chat when all other forms of communication ceased to exist.Initially was just ***** me looking for 62kwh battery replacement for my **** ****** Leaf, sent a standard message to **** store contact EvRides but no response for days, resent no response. Decide to call, no one picks up and left several messages. Then on ****** map, once I locate them, was a ****** chat option. Only response one time Thursday March 24, 2022 10:09am, "HI yes we can help you install 62 battery. I'll check out schedule and get back with you." Then when I follow up with wanting to speak to live person to arrange logistic shipping company to have a person's name to receive the car, no response. Logistic company has been hounding me but I wind up not shipping my ****** Leaf over since I can't get anyone to confirm anything- cost of battery, labor, health of battery, warranty, etc.So I did some investigation and found EV RIDES has been caught frauding auction for 62kwh ****** Leaf with 24 older batteries. Upon contact, EV RIDES then stop responding to public inquiries. I think they are in some kind of legal issues at the moment.If they had gotten back to me, I might gave been scammed so thank God they didnt.Customer Response

Responding to Tomcat; they have answered every one of my queries by email with helpful information.Responding to ************** Everything I've read says that they sell batteries salvaged from wrecked Leafs. They don't sell new(unused) or reconditioned batteries and they don't recondition batteries. The cars they sell *** or *** not have had the battery replaced,which could be misunderstood as "new", as in "not the original battery".
