The transaction occurred on 03/20/20 for 200 dollars. I was told I was financed for a car which according to the paper I have recieved I needed to put $500 cash down on. The company told me that in order to be financed I needed to put down $1000, I only had $700 at the time. The car salesman had me send $200 to his personal cash app without having me sign any paperwork about any kind of deposite or anything befor I even had the chance to try and find insurance to leave the car lot. As the day went on I had difficulty finding insurance because the insurance companies and the car lot were closing so he told me my money would be fine they would just hold it as part of the down payment and hold the car until the next day when I had time to find insurance. The next day I continued to have a hard time finding insurance and the ones I am had been able to find I just couldn't afford along with the car payment so I called the car lot and told them I was very sorry but because I was on such a short time frame to find it I just didn't think I would be able to finance the car at this time and asked them for the $200 dollars that they had asked me to cash app them back seeing as how I still had not signed any paperwork and there was never supposed to be a non-refundable deposite. The car dealer told me I had until noon the next day to find any insurance I could he didn't care if it was to expensive he had put to much work into it and if I didn't get insurance then I lost the finance and my $200.
