Timber Dental *******, *********************** DDS ************ Date of Service: 2/14/2024 Account # ***** Service: adult prophylaxis had been quoted at $20.80 under my insurance with Delta Dental ******** Advantage (ID *********, Group #********)At the conclusion of the procedure I was charged $20.80 which I paid with my debit card.A few weeks later I received a bill for $90 with no explanation.I contend that I do not owe this additional amount because I was quoted and paid the full amount at conclusion of the service. Nothing was mentioned about the insurance coverage.Further, this is a shoddy business practice and if it was a mistake then that's on them and is the "cost of doing business."Initial Complaint

I went to the dentist on December 5 and my insurance didn't cover it because of a error on my half. Once I fixed the error my dental insurance said they will pay it. It been over 3 weeks and my dental insurance said they paid it and it shows paid on my end but timber dental says it's not paid. I been In contact with timber dental over four times now and they keep telling me there's nothing they can do. My insurance company tried to call and waited on hold for over 20 minutes and no one picked back up. I then talked to the manager ******* and ****** and they were no help and ended up hanging the phone up on me because I was frustrated. I got no answer but rude tone the whole time.Customer response

It was the timber dental on *********************************************************************************************************************, sorry about the confusion, but when I was filling out the form this location wasn't an option for me to input.
