Decent boots but what a disaster of a company to order from directly. They are in the early 2000s web site wise as far as speed and functionality of shipping and customer service.The partnership with BORDERFREE is a big part of why you never want to buy from Danner direct.No back order heads up and 5 days to respond to simple emails.

My husband has been wearing Danner boots for over 20 years. Placed an order for the Danner Vicious 6" boots on July 9, 2024. As of today, August 13, 2024, the boots still were not shipped. Reached out to Danner via chat, was told shipping would be August 24, 2024, however, found out that I could order these boots from different places and asked why I could order them thru other places yet they couldn't fulfill my order direct from the company. I spoke with a guy named **** who said inventory was different at retailers. I ended up ordering the same boots from Amazon. When I got back on Danners chat to cancel my order, you have to go through the robot first, I placed in the chat for the robot why I was contacting. ******* got on the chat and when I asked for my order to be cancelled, she informed me that **** had already done so. When I told her that he was never asked to do that, she tried to use my reason for getting on chat the second time, however, Danner sent me a copy of the chat with ****. NO WHERE during the chat was he asked to cancel the order. I provided the screenshots from the emailed copy of the conversation to ******* and she basically told me I was a liar. She also refused to put me in contact to a person higher up. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! My husband said he will be switching companies for boots now.

Purchased two pairs of boots. Both labeled as waterproof.1. Goretex.2. Danner Dry Both labeled and marketed as waterproof.Within 3-4yrs that waterproof claim is FALSE.I believe this is false and misleading advertising. A marketed and labeled waterproof piece of equipment should last longer than 3-4yrs.

My biggest complaint is the reviews on their website site are a scam. I tried several times to post my one star honest review of the boots I purchased. I have the emails declaring me a verified buyer and acknowledging they received my review. But the review never appears on their website. I knew I was taking a risk buying the boots because the Danner company doesn’t actually exist anymore. They were bought out by a conglomerate and are simply a brand now. For anyone curious about my review, the pair I received was not a true Women’s size shoe. It’s the same whether it’s Men’s or Women’s and the black was already wearing off after TWO DAYS of wearing them from my home to my office and back. Unfortunately, none is this is covered by their “warranty” or return policy. The warranty is also written in such legalize I can’t imagine anyone can actually ever use it. Poor Quality and Bogus marketing is my experience with 2023 Danner boots.

I purchased a pair of 6" Danner workboots online. They rubbed a wound on my foot. I contacted Danner and was informed there was no return option as the boots were worn outside. The CS agent sent the fine print return policy via chat in a "gotcha" sort of way. I dont wear any shoes in my house to "break them in". Beware of this return policy. ****** learned!!!

Started wearing Danner boots about 5 years ago. The Jags that I started with took some breaking in, but were amazingly comfortable after that initial period (about a week or so). The tread lasted for a solid 2.5 years, but I wore them for about 3 years. The tread is a Danner-specific one and I wasn't completely satisfied with their performance on wet rocks. When I replaced them 2 years ago, I got the Mountain 600 which has a Vibram sole and works great in the wet! Yes, they're not particularly cheap, but they last for at least 2 years. I'm awaiting shipment of my next pair of Mountain 600.
