I reached out to AMR Service Group to have two outlet receptacles installed to a pre-existing line on Nov. 11th. The technicians claimed to have ran a diagnostic and found that the pre-existing line had power so they moved forward with installing the outlet receptacles. After they were gone I tried to use the newly installed outlets and they were not giving any power. The outlets didn't work at all. When we reached out to AMR Service Group, they were unable to address the issue until 11 days after the incomplete job which would've been on Nov 22nd. This service cost me $259.94. Since they were not available to fix the job that they did not complete, I reached out to another electrician for a second opinion. This electrician came from *********************************************** located at ***************** Newtown, PA *********. They pulled out the receptacles that AMR Service Group installed and found that they were never connected to the pre existing line resulting in no power to the outlets. The electrician from ************************* Electric was able to correct the problem. They charged $343.00 for this service and a $95.00 dispatch fee resulting in a total charge of $428.00. AMR Service Group did not complete the job, but ************************* Electric did. For that reason I would like to be refunded the cost of the service minus the dispatch fee which is $210.94. I'm hoping Better Business Bureau can help us come to a resolution. Typically, when a company does not complete a job or has an error, they usually address the issue within 24-48 hours. AMR Service Group did not have any interest in doing that which is why I'm writing BBB to help and file this complaint. Attached you will find a receipt from AMR Service Group along with the ************************* Electric Invoice which highlights that neither receptacle was connected to power and that they made proper splice connections to the pre-existing line to connect it to the receptacles/outlets.
