Purchased Performance Tires from CJ Tires Kimberton PA Store last April 2022. I asked for and received what were the original stock tires for my 2015 ******* **. When I requested the tires i asked them to quote me tires with any additional warranties or Road side hazard insurance. I explained at the time of requesting all the added "insurance" for the lack of a better term. I have been purchasing tires for my many current and previously owned Cars from CJ Tires at multiple different locations around Chester Co. Because I never had a unsatisfactory experience. I had my car inspected a the Phoenixville **** Dealership on **** ****. I was shocked to be informed that my one year old tires were not Passing PA State Inspection for treadwear. I took my car right to the Kimberton location and they agreed the don't pass. Never did I know when I asked for and or at time of purchase was I aware there is no tread warranty for these tires. Either the manufacture of the tire supplied CJ's with deflective tires or I was deceived into thinking my purchase was a sound choice. CJ's has educated me on all the legal protections they have to say No. All I asked was for them to replace the obviously defective rears for PA Insp. I did purchase 4 tires and made sure they balanced them. 12 thousand miles and my car is now technically illegal to drive in PA. Either way CJ's has offered to discount me on other Tires. I went there because I have had very many good experience with CJ's and trusted what was sold to me. I have had no complaints or bad thoughts regarding my tires until I found out it would not pass PA inspection. I'm sure I The car had over 35K miles on the original set from the factory. I have little recourse legally as I have been told by this company that sells themselves as a Family owned business that I learned today is just a Corporation that hates on its loyal costumers. The only option offered would cost me another $400. I cant afford that and now will loose my $100 PA Fee.Initial Complaint

I got new tires and alignment on 7/1/22, ************** Store. The tires that I previous had were cupped. When I drove away the ride still seemed the same. I drove down the street, and I had my friend who is a mechanic at ****** ****** drive the car with me in it. He agreed with me that something was still wrong. I wondered if it was a suspension issue. I made an appointment for the ***** dealer to see if it was a suspension issue, 7/7/22. ***** dealer said car was out of alignment. They align the car. And when I drove away it rode fine. CJ's did not provide me the alignment sheet until I called and complained.Initial Complaint

It seems my issue is similar to the last complaint. We had air conditioning problems with our car. Wasn’t shooting out cold air. Took it in to cjs to have them fix the issue. Spent close to 1300 dollars and problem was still not fixed. We fell for it yet again and shelled out more money on something else they thought it could be. John had verbally told me. (Get everything in writing from that man if you do choose to go to them. He tells a bunch of unrealistic things) take the car to the dealership, whatever they diagnose we will Cover charges. Never did. Now they are very convenient to our place so we continue to bring them our car and we continue to Get misdiagnosed and never reimbursed from the dealership expense. Told us the supervisor will be reaching out real soon. Never heard from supervisor. John Verbalized to both my husband and i that since the air conditioning was not worked out and that they never picked up the bill that they will give us free oil changes as long as we own the car. This happened over three years ago. We continue to bring the car to cjs. Recently the left driver side was making a rattling noise. Brought it in for an oil change and a diagnostic for rattle. Once again Mis diagnostic charges is close to 500$ Fixed the engine mount on the opposite side of the noise and told us this is the last oil change for free. Car makes the exact same sound as when we dropped it off. Then he proceeds to tell My husband that I ruined his day out at the ball game and I threatened him with one curse word in a text message. I walked into the store and asked to Talk to supervisor. He tried calling kevin and nothing. Do supervisors exist here ? Same problem happened three years ago and no supervisor ever got back. Now, a new problem and supervisor still hasn’t gotten back to me. One Week later. Sick of this, advise no one to go to cjs. I surely won’t ever be bringing my business back and will defer anyone from going there/ terrible service.Initial Complaint

On 12/4/21 my 2014 ***** ***** was experiencing a rattle at idle and while accelerating. I took my car to Cj's Tire & Automotive in Fairless Hills, PA to have it diagnosed. They told me I needed to have my ac compressor replaced, which I agreed to and scheduled for the following Saturday (invoice#**********). On 12/11/21 Cj's proceed to change my ac compressor. Upon completion they told me that the ac compressor was not the issue and that they now believed I had an internal engine malfunction. They could not tell me specifically what was wrong with the engine as they stated they didn't have the proper equipment to diagnose it. They recommend that I take my car to a dealership for further diagnostics. I paid them $941.46 for the replaced ac compressor which they now say was not the issue (invoice#**********) and left with my car still rattling. Upon their recommendation I took my car to a dealership for diagnostic on 12/28/21 expecting there to be engine problems like Cj's had stated. The dealership found that the new AC compressor that Cj's had installed was not installed properly. The dealership had to completely reinstall the ac compressor thus fixing my issue. The dealership charged me $735.47 to reinstall the ac compressor properly (invoice#******). I would like Cj's to reimburse me the additional $735.47 that I had to pay to fix a repair that they did not complete properly.
